Purchased this laptop three weeks ago. Since then, I have had to power off the laptop 1 to 2 times just about every day because it freezes up on me. I have never owned a laptop that's done this to me before, and I am disappointed that this is happening. I've done quite a bit to remedy the situation and nothing has completely helped.

It's not a bad basic laptop, but the S mode is crap. I wish I would have returned it when I had the chance. I have tried multiple times to get our of S mode, with no avail. If you don't mind paying for free apps or if you are just using it for the internet then it will be good for you! I have had to restart it quite a few times as well, even though I don't have anything saved on the computer.

I wouldn't buy this again. It was slow. But it was cheap. Try not opening a whole lot of windows. I was desperate when my real computer died. And with the pandemic and supply issues well we don't have a lot of choices. Thankfully Best Buy was a great place to purchase this. I have bought PCs on Amazon.com and they are terribel. Best Buy was great before and after the sale

Fair for the price, would recommended if you don’t have to install too many things

Good laptop but had issues with the laptop sound. Best Buy ended up replacing the laptop and the new one is great.

Decent laptop I would definitely recommend if you planned on using this for work purposes

Wanted another unit that was out of stock, but this was just for a satellite office. Does the job.

Computer regularly freezes and locks up while doing simple tasks like playing a video. Happens hourly. I bought it at the end of the school year and didn't use it much until the return window was closed. Wish I'd tested it more thoroughly, more quickly. Do not recommend.

Really wish I had understood this is not a touch screen unit. Inconvenience to use.

I kind of hate this computer, but it didn't give me any problems until (surprise, surprise!) the DAY AFTER my return window expired! It has randomly started blinking in a blank screen in the middle of using the internet. I'm still in S Mode, so it's my understanding that it should be harder to catch a virus or something similar. So I don't know what the issue is, but the only way to get the computer back when it happens is to force shut down with the power button and then start it up again. Windows runs relatively slowly as well, with updates taking forever to install, and since I'm having issues in S Mode, I'm scared to take it out, even though it completely hinders the purpose of having a computer right now: I can't use Zoom or Google Chrome, which are both necessary for one of my jobs, so I'm still using my terrible old computer for that. Overall, a waste of money so far since the return window at Best Buy is absurdly small (15 days).

horrible I have had it almost a year and sine day one it has froze up things just randomly pop up and the internet just randomly closes. I have tried to contact geeksquad but can never get ahold of anyone i paid way to much for this for it to run this crappy...

It will cut off just out of the blue. Not sure what it is, but for what I paid, it's just not worth fixing. I bought it to use some software that needed a newer processor to run. It serves a purpose as the laptop in the living room for suring the net while watching TV.

Poor quality, very dissatisfied with the products material and overall construction.

Pretty stripped down. Processor was slow, but did have a good memory.

Good laptop for basic tasks like browsing etc. Good battery life.

Absolute piece of garbage. Literally bought this laptop for ONE function: open a virtual webcam platform on internet explorer (with no download of any site) and it keeps crashing at least once every 2 weeks. I don’t google on this, I don’t use social media, no email, absolutely nothing but open one web browser and it crashes way too frequently. Such poor quality, cannot even just run a basic webcam function (Amwell) without crashing or just freezing. Stay clear

Good price point computer for access. Do not attempt to use it for MatLab
