Much better than its HP competitor 14-dx0001. Super fast, eager and up to the job. Don’t get it for online games, but get it for steam downloaded offline games. Great for online working too!

We recently bought this for our daughter and it’s exactly what we were looking for. It can access most apps, downloads very quickly, games run smoothly and it is perfect for her school work. All for a great price. We are very satisfied with this purchase.

I love this lap top. I purchased two for my children. The keys are nice and raised for easy typing. The mousepad has the buttons for easy clicking. There’s not a right side Numerical key pad and I think it makes it easier for small hands to work around the keyboard. I did purchase internal memory cards as detailed in other reviews. So far there as been no issue with storage. So I tucked them away. I did not feel comfortable installing them myself because you have to take the lap top apart. So perhaps when the memory gets low, I’ll take them to a professional to do the upgrade. I love HP products. My son plays roblox with out any issue and I am confident this will serve them well with their school work. I actually had purchased a more expensive Lenovo idea pad for one of them originally. I seriously like this HP lap top better than the idea pad.

I needed a cheap replacement for my aging other computer that was well past it’s prime and this was within my budget so I thought I would give it a shot. It is a super fast little computer that I enjoy using just because of the speed to start up and get going right into the web browser and load pages right away. If you get it switch it out of S mode which is done easily through the activations page in the settings and you can download other browsers like chrome. The web cam is really bad so if that’s something that is important to you maybe avoid this computer. The terrible image quality of the webcam doesn’t matter to me so it’s not a deal breaker. The battery lasts a long time from which I can tell so far. I do like this computer and I might even go the extra mile and upgrade the ram one of these days to make it even speedier.

The computer was delivered in a timely manner and it works as I thought it would. The price was great and the computer is pretty fast. I think its a great buy for someone who is looking to use it for studying and writing papers.

I bought this laptop for my 8 year old nephew who school went remotely due to the pandemic. It works well and it’s pretty fast too. Not bad for the price. It was a good purchase.

Nice size for travel. I like windows 10; however, being a Google Chrome person, I had to shut the S mode down. I enjoy the speed of this machine. I've only had this computer for a month but it performs well to my needs!

Pc seems fast even with 4gb of ram. Haven't tried anything demanding. Just been using it for typing in word, browsing the web, watching youtube, etc. I plan on upgrading the ram. I don't really care about storage size on this laptop as I use flash drives or my portable hard drive anyways. 4 stars cuz I ordered a open box excellent. 2 days later the D key fell off when I was typing. The metal "hooks" I call it, for the key to hook on and hold the key in place was bent. I suspect this might be why it was open box. I returned it and got my money back and I went and ordered a NEW one. Lets see how this goes..

This computer's a great buy for what it was priced for. The speed is great for what it's being used for and it has excellent battery life. I recommend it if you're looking for affordable and quality.

Good computer for our students having to tackle online schooling. Does more and is faster than the chrome book the school gives you. Great little starter computer, under $300.00!

Computer delivery was much earlier than expected. The device is lightweight and easy to balance . The print on the set up directions needs to be larger The visitor use feature is a creative addition so tha others can use your computer without viewing your.data The set up along the left side is not so conveniently placed Vertical bars need to be wider Like ease of downloading ebooks, but needs more font choices for reading Lighting during reading is issue. More ease in adjusting contrast Keyboard is well placed and easy to use.

This is a nice little laptop for the price. It's lightweight and is great if you don't need to have a lot of storage. It's a compact size so it fits well in a purse or a bag.

I usually fall in love with a new laptop. I have had several over the years, from inexpensive to top of the line, but this is the first laptop that I don't really care for. First, it feels insubstantial. Laptops, in addition to being stripped of things like the optical drive, have become such trash lately. I hate the plasticky feel of it and wish I'd gotten one with a metal housing. But the thing that irritates me most is that the space bar sticks, causing words to run together when I'm typing. Then, I have to go back and separate words. I do not like typing on the keys either. I feel the keyboards of my other laptops were more efficient. I just do not like this computer. I've had 3 Asus laptops (and a couple of Compaqs) that I loved so maybe I should go back to that brand, but I still have an HP desktop that has run well for 10 years so I trusted this brand. If the return window had not passed, I would send this back. I am plotting on how to find another laptop as we speak. But I cannot find anything I want so far because laptops are so poorly made these days. You used to be able to find pretty good laptops for a good price, but now the affordable ones are crap with barely any storage.

Having built a PC myself, I know a thing or two about computers. I was looking for a cheaper laptop that would give me a bang for my buck and this was perfect. Not too much storage could be a problem for some but not me because I use google drive (and it’s perfectly compatible with the Google Chrome browser installation). It runs my Spotify app and multiple tabs well. Very good for multitasking. Would recommend to students using Google Drive or those who don’t mind the smaller storage.

I needed a laptop for work and after researching many of them I settled on this HP because if overall great reviews. Beware though. You get what you pay for. I have no complaints over how quickly it boots up but they should not sell Windows 10 computers with only 4gb of RAM. If I have my browser open for work and try and open a word document or spreadsheet it freezes up on and off. I had to spend $35 for an 8gb RAM chip and that solved the problem. Also after a week or so the WiFi will not connect unless I’m within a foot of my router at home. At the office it doesn’t connect at all. Via Ethernet cable the internet is fine. I ran every troubleshooter possible. So since it’s no longer returnable I spent $35 on a network adapter and that solved the problem. No reviews mentioned this but I read several articles that said this is a problem with HP laptops. So spend some extra money and get a better laptop because you’ll end up spending it anyway.

This laptop works awesome. I have had no issues and it works great. I highly recommend this laptop at this price.

With all of the distance learning going on in school, my kids needed their own computer. They have a desktop that they were sharing, but with class times overlapping in a distance learning environment that doesn't show signs of stopping, I needed to provide them with a more reasonable solution. These are perfect for them to attend their class meetings, access their assignments, and even do a little lightweight gaming (No, these will not handle your graphics-heavy games). These carry a lot of bang for the buck, and they have really made home schooling much easier.
