This computer is kind of slow but works well. It is great for anyone who isn’t using the computer for much.

I am still getting use to it. I was not able to have the store set it up because they were only doing appointments and there was a long wait.

Bought early for school because it was finally in stock after months. Very, very slow laptop. Worst part.... my son and I didn't find out how bad this laptop was till school started and now it is 2 weeks past the return date. Horrible, considering how much I buy there. We have kept the laptop in S mode also, but it is just a Chromebook that costs a bit more. A friend also bought one and took it out of S mode and it wont run all of Windows 10. Useless for homeschooling and Zoom. VERY BASIC LAPTOP, SHOULD NOT BE LISTED AS A LAPTOP.

I had this for a week. Went to plug a USB into the port. System fried. Wouldn't turn on. Sent it off to get repaired. Still waiting for it to return. Other than that it was great.

Solid HP laptop. Mousepad is awkward to use. They removed mouse buttons but the touchpad mouse button area doesn't always register a double click. Buy a Bluetooth mouse

you should you should explain your products a little more thoroughly so people like me that aren't computer literate understand there was no CD drive with this computer

Definitely not the best laptop. The resolution is very poor. The system itself tends to freeze. You get what you pay for.

I purchased 2 laptops on the same day, one for my sister and one for myself. After I purchased these my sister was able to get hers running although the setup process was ridiculous. I had to have surgery so we attempted to set mine up and stopped during the process as it was asking for a gmail account and .... to continue. We just attempted to finish this setup and got to the installation of Microsoft 365. I purchased this product and was told that the same product code could be used on both of these laptops. We were not able to do this. We called Best Buy. We were transferred and the wait time for a call to be answered was 7 minutes. 48 minutes later a person answered we said "we are trying to download Microsoft 365 to the second of two laptops purchased the same day and the product code did not work."The person hung up. I will be taking this laptop in person to Best Buy next week but after years and several thousand dollars of money spent at Best Buy I will never purchase another thing from them.

Perhaps it is a lemon, never had a power supply die. Still have some from 25 years ago, lolz. Hoping to reach out to Best Buy to resolve, will update.

When I first got it I thought it would be ok even though it was smaller than what I wanted. I got it all set up then waited and waited for webpages to load. I was willing to deal with it until the black screen kept popping up while I was watching videos for a conference I was doing. Then during Zoom meetings the black screen started popping up and I kept getting kicked out of the meetings. That was when I said enough is enough and returned it and got a Dell.

simple computer with nice features. if you're transitioning to windows and want a sample of what it has to offer this would be a great start.

Speed is just OK. It is slow but for a barely used computer, it's working for us.

They never tell you this is Microsoft Windows 10 in a safe mode and you cannot get anyone to help you be able to put any programs on this lap top that is not in Microsoft Store (so unusable for school). Microsoft will charge you for any type of help. HP will not help you because it's a "software problem" . I never had such a runaround with any product and I have purchased HP most of my life. No more though.

Okay. Still do not like the "mouse" feature of laptops , prefer a mouse. Like the size. Takes a bit of time to get used to

First of all, I did not buy this Trend Micro Internet Security (3-Device) (6 Month Subscription) . If it is possible to give zero rating, I will give it zero rating for this experience. I bought a laptop and returned it immediately without even opening the packaging( Reason: Covid 19 related ). However, best buy charged me for a free software bundle that came with the laptop even after I properly returning it to a Bestbuy store. I followed it up multiple times with Bestbuy customer service( at least 4 times as of now and I will continue until it is properly resolved ). The last discussion I had with Bestbuy customer service was 10 days ago and I was told that they will cancel the software subscription( apparently, I am in a subscription service that I never subscribed ). However, I still have not seen a refund for it. I now have a need to buy a TV but it will not be from Bestbuy.

I was able to take care of my basic computer needs with this laptop so it did the job!

I would only really use this to browse the internet not super fast but just ok

Not a bad laptop but it did not have the options I needed. It could have been made more heavy duty as well.

Processor is okayish... but I’d upgrade the memory so videos can run smoothly and for multitasking

I didn't care for this computer. It wouldn't let me add apps from other developers and didn't have a lot of apps from their store to compensate. I was not able to install the free security software that came free with the purchase which was an incentive to buy but not to keep. Slow to start and always seemed to be slow for a brand new laptop.
