Yhis laptop worked Extremely well. It lasted beyond my initial expectation. The battery lasted long, keys remained in tact and everything. It was super fast and stirage was good.

Purchased this unit on the Deal of the Day for only $200. Normally priced at $429.99. There are two RAM slots, it comes with 8 GB on the one slot and I was able to upgrade it with an additional 16 GB stick. The 24 GB of RAM makes the unit run really smooth. The specs says the RAM max out at 16 GB but it still works with higher capacity RAM. It comes with shared video so approximately 2 GB is not available for use, therefore, more RAM improves performance. The battery life is really good lasting all day (8 hrs) with occasional uses. The only down side is that it comes with only 128 GB of HD but it can be upgraded if desired. Also, Windows 11 S mode leaves a lot to be desired as more common apps are not available for installation. You are able to take it out of the S mode but there is no way to revert.

I absolutely love this laptop for many reasons... it doesn't get hot!... it's fast and you can have multiple videos playing smoothly... it's lightweight! ... the screen is bright!... the audio is loud and clear! .. the battery charges so fast! ... and the price is so inexpensive! Couldn't ask for more! Thank you, HP & BestBuy for the great deal!

I usually don't write a lot of reviews but, recently realized that I am doing a disservice not letting people know how the product is. As a matter of fact, I always read reviews before buying something. Anyway, I have been using this laptop for a year and half. After spilling tea on my previous i7 laptop, I was looking for any i3 laptop within $300. Later I bought this with ryzen 3 for around $260 and, oh boy, I am glad that I did. I am using it like a desktop, most of the time plugged in. So won't be able to say how long it goes with battery. But it is a very strong performer. Never hanged on me. I do a lot of data analysis and web browsing. I open a lot of apps at the same time but it never lags. I don't know how but It performs almost as fast as my previous i7 laptop. The only drawback with the laptop is that it's screen quality. Movie watching is not fun on this. But I have another monitor hooked up to it and, so I don't have to look at the screen too often. Anyway, if you are like me and looking for something that gets the job done and don't intend to spend a lot of money, this laptop is for you.

I bought this laptop back in 2022, it’s now 2025. The laptop runs great, it great for very light use and it gets the job done on the other side you get what you pay for. Light gaming is only what it can do. The graphics are actually terrible, very fuzzy. After a couple years of use the fan noice is very loud as well. Battery life doesn’t last long, Multitasking on here is not great, but the storage is fair. I would not purchase this laptop again I’m actually going to have to buy a new one with better specs. If your child is in school this would be perfect.

I've been watching this laptop for some time as I was looking for a new lightweight machine to travel with that would handle simple tasks (email, web surfing, photo organization, etc.). I wasn't 100% sold, but when it dropped to $200 for a Deal of the Day, I had to grab one. I must say that so far, I am very pleased with its performance. The keys have a nice feel when typing, the touch pad is very smooth, and the screen is the perfect size. I'm enjoying the SD memory card port; my previous laptop had a microSD typically found in the $200 range laptops, which required me to travel with an adapter. However, the two things that I'm most excited about: the SSD and the RAM. The SSD, unlike eMMC, can be swapped out at some point in the future (for now the 128GB will do the job). As for the memory, I am fine with 8gb; makes for a snappy Win11 experience, but I was ecstatic to learn that this was expandable to a max of 16gb (again, future upgrade). Given its price, current performance AND the capacity for future upgrades makes this HP laptop an excellent buy. Get one!

Been using this for a year, for the price I got it this laptop works well for me for everyday work. I haven’t had problems with it and the battery lasts long. It’s not meant for heavy programs or gaming but it’s fine for normal media and working on documents.

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Wanted something better than a Chromebook but not as expensive as a laptop. For $250, this checks the boxes. It’s better than some of the similarly priced Celeron cpus and it’s got Windows which I prefer to ChromeOS. Plus it means that you should be able to install Linux as well. Another plus is 8gb ram on one stick with another slot open. I don’t know why they sell Windows systems with 4gb of ram. It’s an awful choice especially with no upgradable systems. I suppose it’s just cashing in on the general public really not knowing much about hardware. Anyway, good for basic productivity, my only knock is it’s definitely not an IPS screen as the specifications state. This is the second laptop I’ve purchased from Best Buy with incorrect specs. I ended up returning the last one because of it. There should be some sort of discount for the inconvenience and incorrect advertising.

Absolute steal for $250. Build quality: My trackpad is a bit wobbly (I use a mouse so not a dealbreaker), but aside from that it exceeded my expectations for the price. Specs: Where this laptop shines. The Ryzen 3 cpu (2 core 4 thread) is good but nothing special. 8 gb of ram is excellent for this price, and the Samsung NVME ssd is insanely quick. Who should buy this? Basically anyone looking for a light, quick laptop for browsing and occasional light gaming. Do no buy this if you plan on playing any modern games. You’ll need a desktop gaming pc for a laptop with a discrete gpu for that. The guy that just recently wrote a 3 star review for this laptop is not intelligent. You don’t buy a $250 laptop for the purpose of gaming

Just what I was looking for. It's light and compact, perfect for travel and inexpensive enough not to have to worry about it getting stolen or damaged. I do wish the keyboard had some lighting. The memory is 2x what I found elsewhere around the same sale price. The built-in McAfee AV keeps pestering me to purchase a subscription so that's the first thing getting deleted after the free 30 day free trial ends. It doesn't even include some basic tools with the trial. Would be 5 stars without McAfee's daily notifications popping up.

It’s fast and display color is very good. You can open multiple screens it’s still working good and fast. Longer battery life, color silver is very nice.

One of the best i have ever own it was ready for use as soon as i received and has been working perfectly ever since.

It was the best choice i made when i purchased my laptop from Best Buy. The item was good for the price. I use it for all of my favorite games, bill payments and to read all of my emails.

Got this computer today. It was very easy to set up, fast, I got out of the S Mode and could download whatever I wanted. The SSD hard drive is not that big but I can always use a USB Flash Drive or SSD Card to augment the memory. In these times of high inflation, to get a laptop like this for $200 bucks is a relief on the wallet.

I absolutely love this laptop! It is lightweight! The keyboard keys are large and spaced perfectly! The keys are quiet, soft and easy to type on. It runs very well in Windows S Mode. I got a steal on this one for $269.99. This is a phenomenal laptop and I am very please with it's sleekness and performance! One of the best purchases I have made all year!
