Love it works smooth. Wish the keys weren’t so flat so I could type faster but great laptop

Love this laptop! It is perfect for anyone taking classes or just to stream.

I like the portability of the laptop. I can easily send it to wherever i want to go. It usage so easy and good for a computer beginner. One issue with the laptop is the space. I am unable to have so much on it.

It is very slow and (my fault for thinking it was enough for a couple of games) the emmc storage drive is way too small for windows 11. Put in a few maintenance programs and now there is only 10gb left .Not sure if I can get one game in for my grandson to play with. HP should get slapped for even thinking of releasing a computer that is that bad.

This is a basic laptop. It has low memory & is fairly slow but for the price, you get what you pay for. I only need it to play PowerPoint slide shows on a TV, and it is sufficient for that.

I recently purchased the HP 14" Laptop with an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB Memory, and 64GB eMMC in Snowflake White. I had hoped this budget-friendly option would meet my basic computing needs, but unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience. The computer's performance is notably slow, struggling with even the most basic tasks like web browsing and document editing. The Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of memory simply don't seem to keep up with today's software demands, leading to frustrating delays and a less-than-smooth user experience. Additionally, the quality of the screen is low, with poor color accuracy and viewing angles. This makes for a less enjoyable viewing experience, whether I'm trying to work or relax with a video. The Snowflake White design, while aesthetically pleasing, doesn't compensate for the lackluster performance and display quality. While I understand compromises must be made for a more affordable price point, this laptop feels borderline unusable for anything beyond the most minimal and undemanding tasks. It may be suitable for someone with very limited needs and expectations, but for anyone requiring a dependable daily computer, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. In conclusion, despite its attractive price, the HP 14" Laptop's slow performance and low-quality screen make it hard to recommend. Consider investing a little more for a significantly better computing experience. Rating: 2/5 – Disappointing performance, even for the budget-conscious.

This laptop is great, except the "A" button gets stuck quite a bit. Nothing that has been told to do to fix it has worked. I also did not realize that it did not have a backlight keyboard. Other than that, great product

I love this HP laptop. It is easy to use, lightweight and super affordable. My other HP laptop died and I needed a laptop for work, I went online and ordered the laptop and it was ready in about 2 hours. It was a breeze to set up and I was back to work in no time.

I really like this computer for lightweight work. I bought it mostly to take with me to restaurants or libraries etc. because it's cheap enough I'm not worried about spilling drinks on it, or someone swiping it. I didn't even bother trying Windows on it because Windows is not my favorite. I however did put Linux Mint 20.3 on it (non-Edge version), with encrypted LUKS storage. All the hardware is recognized out of the box, including the WiFi and Bluetooth. I reduced the amount of swappiness and switched the /tmp and /var/tmp filesystems to use the "tmpfs" to reduce the amount of churn on the eMMC storage. There are only a few oddities so far: the keyboard occasionally will rapid-fire when you type a key. Sometimes have to restart the Bluetooth service. Also the trackpad sometimes just fails to respond. These are most likely Linux driver/firmware issues with this particular hardware most likely because it's cheap bottom feeder stuff. Sometimes "dmesg" shows some weird errors for ACPI and other subsystems. Sometimes it gets stuck in the LUKS unlock boot-up, requiring a Ctrl-Alt-Delete. But I can work with these quirks. The battery life is PHENOMENAL, which it should be with a 6 watt CPU. The screen is actually really good, too. And the speakers are rather good for this price-point.

My laptop was very affordable and easy to set up. I have been able to work on various projects without difficulty. Considering the professionalism shown by my salesman, the quality and performance of the laptop I purchased at Best Buy, I expect to purchase again at Best Buy and recommend them to others.
