This computer was purchased for my son to use at college and has been adequate for all of his needs.

I like it. Its light weight and easy to use. First laptop purchase since 2006.

Best laptop anyone can have, everything about it is great

For the price, it is okay. Good mainly for browsing the internet. Not enough memory or storage to do much else. Didn't suit my needs. I should have returned it but I missed the window.

So far so good. Needed an affordable new one because I had accidentally cracked the screen of my spare laptop. So far working fine, all my docs transferred over on their own, and no issues. Hoping it lasts a couple of years !

my company wont let us put turbo tax (or much of anything else) on our company computers any more, so i bought this HP just for that. it was on sale and inexpensive, has tons of memory and battery life and is so light it almost worries me that it is delicate, but it is not. a fantastic value.

I purchased this laptop for my online college school work. I was kind of worried because it was taking forever to load when I first turned the computer on to set up. It started working just fine not the fastest but not the slowest. It came with Microsoft for 1 year and Antivirus protection with an x box game pass.

Perfect for whatever I need whenever I need it! It jas a great battery life as well

Understanding that this was an older model on clearance, with a bargain price of under $200, my expectation was not much as this was supposed to be a laptop for my 2 young children as they are starting to need online access for school work and the occasional "gaming" (math & reading exercises in forms of games). So they aren't holding up our work laptops. All it had to do was access emails and a few light duty websites, unfortunately it's not even capable of doing that. Computer is SLOOOOW, apps and webpages take forever to load, a 3rd party browser seems to be intentionally hampered/interfered by the built in Microsoft variety. In the end, the kids still wind up asking for our laptops. Gave it a try but this is utterly useless. If you need just browsing and emails, a smartphone can outperform this thing 100x faster. Put this $200 toward something else better.

I am thrilled with my purchase and will continue to shop Best Buy for my electronics.

My other laptop had broken about a year or so ago, and seeing this for an affordable price made my day. Now I trying to get back into the swing of things with my writing. Plus, it came with a free 1-month Xbox Game pass and my subscription literally has just run out. I open my Best Buy window and I see the free month pass like a gift on Christmas.

I bought this for my daughter because I wanted her to have a laptop but not one that was overly expensive since ahe ruined her last one. I wanted to have parental controls available with a windows laptop which in current mode is great. My daughter loves playing roblox and I thought it would be a good laptop for that, however it doesnt hold up performance wise. Idk if it is because its in microsoft mode for me to have parental control or if its just the laptop itself but she complains her games are super laggy to the point where its impossible to play. A lot of other programs she has tried to use have also been reported to be super laggy. It could be the current mode and breaking it from that mode into a regular PC might improve pe4formance but I am afraid to do that because once done it camnot be undone. Its a great price for simple tasks if keepingbin microsoft mode but you are limited to only using microsoft only programs unless you decide to "break" it out of that mode which then it will be like a regular laptop and you can access any program you want

Wanted a laptop for writing out paper work and search the internet some. Does the job. Good size.
