It is slow but does the job. Make sure to upgrade the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB to ensure that it is actually usable for something as basic as work or school, though, since 4 GB struggles to boot and open apps.

This is the best laptop I have ever purchased by far! The screen size and the clarity was perfect for school work and Zoom meetings. It was easy to install and the price was excellent.

The deal they had was absolutely perfect. I didn't need anything too fancy just something so I could work on or daily simple tasks and I couldn't be happier. It's fast and there's no optical drive which is honestly fine for me. But you can customize it a bit to wear you can add an SSD or an HDD to it which is pretty cool. I've already began to do so. And the curbside pickup made it that much more simple for me so I'm very happy overall.

This laptop is thin and fits easily into my bag. It runs smoothly. I have had no issues with it. It works for everything I need it for. I would think it would be great for a college student. I recommend it.

This is a horribly slow laptop. It was meant to be donated to my Church, but they would only have been frustrated waiting for the browser to load. I'm not talking about the webpage loading, I'm saying the browser takes about 15 seconds to open. Once I decided to return this to the BestBuy store, I needed to reset the operating system so that no personal data would be retrievable. This failed again and again, only stating that "Something went wrong". For over a week I continued trying until it finally worked and my data was safely removed. I then tried to return it to BestBuy, but was told because it was over the two week period from purchase, they could not take it back, even for store credit. This is the opposite of Customer Service. I have bought two laptops from BestBuy in the past 6 months. I have bought at least 10 in the past several years. I was returning this with everything intact, including the black insert to protect the screen and all of the packaging. I have been an IT professional for 30 years. I manage IT Technicians across the US and Canada for a global client. I can't tell you how very disappointed I am in BestBuy for not extending any options at all for a very disappointing purchase. This laptop will sit unused, and I've lost the purchase price because I was trying to be responsible and clear the data while preserving the original OS.

This is always my laptop of choice. It’s a decent price and gets my job done when it comes to working from home. I’m able to take calls easily. I did end up buying laptop (same one just rose gold) mainly for work and I use this one for entertainment. No complaints besides it acts up when you’re using teams app or zoom when you’re in a meeting in those or charging screen and camera at same time. I also had work systems running so I may just had comp on overload running waaayyy to many things

Pretty good for the cost. It will often times run slow and take a long time to load or just freeze up and we have to restart. We purchased the laptop for our 10th grader who is homeschooled. It was easy to set up and he's able to access everything he needs for his schooling. Overall, we're happy with the purchase.

I have had this HP for 8 months and it is working fine at this time. Took it out of s mode recently and installed web root. Down loaded some software and it went pretty smoothly. For a very cheap computer it is slower than most, but it is a good value and i do not regret buying it. thanks BB

This product is diffidently a beginner for elementary student who are just learning how to operate this device. Finically funds were not available to purchase a system with more bells and whistle. The price was reasonable for what the system capabilities were. I would recommend this unit be purchased by beginners.

Had the computer about 2 years and has worked good. As it gets older it does update slower but still reliable

This is a fantastic computer. It’s fast, light weight, it was cheaper than most laptops and it fits perfect in many types of bags. It has really elevated how to take on college and it’s responsiblities.
