Not gaming as advertised

Bought for my son for Christmas and it goes white and the screen shakes here and there. It was also advertised under gaming. I am going to say bevuase it has Xbox gaming on it and came with 1 month free Xbox games but it doesn’t actually work for any games. Now that could be due to me being computer illiterate and not understanding the specs but also if advertised as gaming it should be able to game. Gaming is not solitaire. Kids want fortnite and Minecraft. Not playable.
