Save more money and buy a better laptop

Laptop was unbelievably slow, but we dealt with it. A month and half after we bought it, the screen doesnt work anymore. It flashes on and off. Tried to call HP customer service and we keep getting a message "cannot take your call at this time". Will never buy an HP product again.
