It’s perfect if you just want to have a blue laptop. If you want to actually have one that you can do more than play solitaire I would buy something else. Purchased it for my 8 year old for Christmas. Thought it would be perfect for her. Had to buy external hard drive just so she could load one game.

If you are on a budget and need a laptop for working at home or doing homework this a decent one to start off with.

Terribly slow computer. NOT good for working from home. I cant imagine it would be good for school. Minimal storage, randomly freezes up and doesnt want to work. Not even worth the $200, maybe $100 but even after swapping RAMs it only a tad bit better.

it is a very value priced laptop, and does the trick when you just want to do simple things like surf the Internet or basic Microsoft Office functions.

I really like this computer for lightweight work. I bought it mostly to take with me to restaurants or libraries etc. because it's cheap enough I'm not worried about spilling drinks on it, or someone swiping it. I didn't even bother trying Windows on it because Windows is not my favorite. I however did put Linux Mint 20.3 on it (non-Edge version), with encrypted LUKS storage. All the hardware is recognized out of the box, including the WiFi and Bluetooth. I reduced the amount of swappiness and switched the /tmp and /var/tmp filesystems to use the "tmpfs" to reduce the amount of churn on the eMMC storage. There are only a few oddities so far: the keyboard occasionally will rapid-fire when you type a key. Sometimes have to restart the Bluetooth service. Also the trackpad sometimes just fails to respond. These are most likely Linux driver/firmware issues with this particular hardware most likely because it's cheap bottom feeder stuff. Sometimes "dmesg" shows some weird errors for ACPI and other subsystems. Sometimes it gets stuck in the LUKS unlock boot-up, requiring a Ctrl-Alt-Delete. But I can work with these quirks. The battery life is PHENOMENAL, which it should be with a 6 watt CPU. The screen is actually really good, too. And the speakers are rather good for this price-point.

Excellent school or office work laptop do not recommend if you want to play any games except angry birds

Just needed a cheap newer laptop to replace a 2008 model Apple laptop. Don’t us it for much but old one would not update any programs. So far so good

Good little laptop. For the price, can't be beat. Good keyboard layout, bright, easy to read screen. Doesn't feel flimsy. Fast enough for everyday use.

This computer is more used as a personal computer to check your emails, research, doesnt have enough storage only contains 64gb, and any work that doesnt take heavy power or alot of ram. This is great computer for children to work but not to play games. Running office 365 is doable with this computer so you’ll be able to run word, powerpoint, and excell. I advise to get warranty becuase the processor on this computer is on the weaker side.

The computer is working fine so far. My concern is that the battery is discharging faster than I thought.

I thought this laptop was going to be faster than what it is now. Its not a make or break my rating, but the purchase was seamless and great.

Great budget laptop. This laptop isnt going to win you over with its weight or feel. But it will win you over if you are looking for a simple machine that does just what it needs to do , is inexpensive, has given me zero issues. It feels a little flimsy but that is not a deterrent for me. I knew I was buying a basic lightweight machine for working remotely once in a while and managing digital photots. I could not be happier about it.

My oldest son is enrolling to a University, and this computer has been helpful

Overall a descent computer for a teen needing to do online schoolwork. On the slow side but it was pretty cheap.

It's pretty slow, but good for the value. I like everything about it, I just wish it had some better specs.

This is a GREAT laptop. Got a great deal as it was on sale. I used others reviews to decide. This laptop is fast, the speakers are fantastic! Lightweight. I got the Rosegold, and the matching wireless mouse. I can hook up with an hdmi to my Big screen. Navigates quickly. Everything loads quickly. I am thinking to get one for my family members. If your on the Fence?? JUMP and get this. Best HP laptop. My use: Movie Streaming/Music/Social medias/emails/online school (returning adult-grandma)
