My laptop was about 5 years old and the screen was cracked so off I went to Best Buy to first see about a quote of fixing the screen and also seeing if the geek squad could clean it up a bit. They were very nice and gave me an estimate but of course the cost of fixing was going to more than buying a new laptop. To my surprise they had some excellent sales going on and within 15 minutes I had a new laptop with a warranty and office 365 under 400.00 bucks! Pleased with my purchase and how quick I was in and out of there!

The laptop is a little sluggish. It does what I need it to do though, and the price wasn't too bad. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Good starter computer for freshman year of college. We survived year 1. Zoom, Google, and Canvas could not break our spirit. Fit will on car/bus/airports/flights from point A to B and everything in between. After being introduced to the HP laptop computer line, it is a solid system.

This laptop is good for the people who only surf the web and use a few programs. The first thing to do is to get rid of windows 10 s mode to get windows 10 home edition, which is quick and easy. After that, you can install the programs you need on this laptop. Everything is fast and smooth. The only bad thing about this laptop is the screen, it is not 1080p. Also, you have to look directly at the screen, otherwise you won't see the perfect picture with the correct brightness and colors. If you need to upgrade the laptop or add a 2.5'' sata ssd hard drive, you have to buy a separate cable or caddy for that. Otherwise, you can only replace the included 128gb m.2 ssd with one that is higher capacity.

Wanted a 14 in screen for travel. My 15 seemed a bit bulky. I'm retired from any serious IT work and didn't need anything stronger than this laptop. I purchased it on sale for around 250.00. It came with 4 gb ram and it worked fine but I ordered and additional 4 gb stick of ram to increase it to 8. Couldn't tell much different but the additional ram was only $20 from Newegg and not a big deal to install. Anyway, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

The Windows 10 S operating system does not allow certain software to be installed... those sold outside of MS Store. In my case it was the bundled "bonus" virus software by Webroot. I was not allowed to install unless I were to change or upgrade original OS. I think the advertised bundled software is misleading in that it is not usable in the original OS configuration. This could be a MS issue, but you guys are selling these for them. Maybe there should be a "warning" ... If there was one I didn't see it.

Perfect size laptop. Good keyboard layout. Plenty fast for everyday general use. I don't play games on it so I couldn't say what runs decently. Screen is bright. Battery life is decent, I get about 5 hours, maybe a little more. Comes with 4gb memory so you may want to upgrade it if you tend to run multiple programs. Overall a great buy.

it's a bargain for the price I payed for, even though I would like to have at least 8 GB memory.
