Purchased for my 78 year young mother. She needed a simple way to get on line to watch live stream and her Windows laptop was always trying to update and was taking a long time to boot up. She’s able to open the lid and get on line with no issues.

Get this as a Christmas gift and the value was great. I am familiar with HP computers and they are awesome. I know she will love it and it will enable her to write stories and such again.

I bought this for my grandchildren to do some work on. It was an easy setup and they are learning how to use it. I am very impressed with the computer for the price.

I paid $179.00 plus tax for this laptop which I thought was a great deal. I been a Windows operating system all my life. While the laptop worked very well, I did not feel comfortable with the "Chromebook" operating system. Additionally, this was the first time that I purchased a "chromebook" laptop.

We purchased this Chromebook at an amazing price! It turned out to be a great purchase for our freshman son and his school work, it does everything he needs for school and the size is great, highly recommend!

Terrific little chromebook that does exactly what the tin advertises. it's a functional, easy to use unit that's perfect for family use. nothing fancy - just gets the job done.

-hard to boot into Linux: no apparent way to set USB as default boot option, requiring manually navigating to it each time; -doesn't run older versions of Linux, as the legacy booting needed for this is not available on newer Chromebooks

I love this Chromebook! It's perfect for me because I'm going back to college. I needed a larger screen and keyboard, since I can type 60 words a minute and can get very comfortable in my chair to type fast.
