Good computer for simple tasks. Extremely fast and a lot more storage than most Chromebooks. With it being a Chromebook I don't think you can install anything Microsoft Office related (Word, PowerPoint, etc) but don't quote me on that :) . However, anything strictly web-based you're good to go. It doesn't have many ports (1 USB, 2 USB-C, 1 Micro SD slot). I already have a USB-C Hub so this isn't an issue for me. Keep that in mind you were planning to expand the monitors. Other than that, loving it so far despite the limitations.

My grandson recommended this laptop for me to replace an old one. Obviously, he knew what he was doing! I have been very pleased with my purchase. Great price for a great computer!

For a low cost "computer", this is pretty good. If you want a more powerful and loaded laptop, this is not the one. It does however, do everything necessary to do normal houshold and personal tasks. Overall, it works well for what it is.

Bought this since I wanted something that can do the basic necessities. I will say, the battery life on this Chromebook is something else. Can last for days if using for simple browsing, YouTube videos, and reading. Picture is also better than I expected for the price. Would recommend if your looking for a laptop to do basic stuff on.

Perfect for what I need it for. I use Canva a lot also have used it for content creation on YouTube and I use it for personal projects like Word docs, spreadsheets, etc.

Works well enough for school or work. Doesn’t get hot to fast and loads pretty quickly. I’d say the only issue is the screen, it has a low resolution and if you don’t look at it at a specific angle the colors act weird.

Bought this for my masters program! So far, so good. Easy to use. Fast and reliable and I really feel like it’s a good laptop for the price!

Bought for my daughter whonis using it for school, social, and watching videos. She is thrilled, its snappier than i expected for the price. Able to manage 3 apps open at a time, charge holds well. Can't find anything to complain about, but I wouldnt expect it to be able to run hi-res games well.

My needs are simple. I pay my bills, search the net for knowledge and shopping. I've had Windows for decades but hated the constant updates and slow downs that went with age of the unit. With a chromebook, none of these issues and no pain with security. This HP Chromebook is fast, bright in screen quality, and well built. Storage for my use is more than I need. The keyboard though needs a little TLC. Better contrast on the lettering and a cap lock would be helpful.

I love my laptop I wish it was a different color but it's okay I use it for work the size of it is the right size and my granddaughter loves to play games on it

Good unit. I've had dozens of computers and laptops. This one I'd rate 4 to 4.5 because the screen resolution is a little fuzzy and, typical for this type of display, isn't very visible except when looking at it straight on. That said, I've had other Chromebooks with the same type of screen that did a little better in that regard. Battery life is fair but could be better. Overall, after 50 years in IT, I've come to loathe HP's stuff, but this unit, so far, in about a month's use has been doing fine - knock on silicon. Just wish these came with a little more memory, like 16GB and a bigger built-in eMMC, like 128 or even 256GB ... it doesn't take long to fill it up. But if you're going to use it for basic things like email, browsing, watching videos (meh), and simple admin / office things, it would be a good choice (if it's on sale, like mine was). If it hadn't been on sale at a deeper discount - a deal of the day gig - I'd have not bought it (see above RE HP :). The other improvement would be keyboard backlighting, although many Chromebooks don't have that anyway. The reason for me is that I can type fast without looking at the keyboard -but- I have four other keyboards I use and somehow the layout is just different enough that I frequently hit one key over. So backlight would help me orient before ripping loose. If you need a good, larger Chromebook, I can recommend this one. But check back in 6 months to make sure I've not started a rant about having bought another piece of HP junk. Caveat Emptor! :P

This is a decent and great chromebook I got. Lightweight and so fast to use. Battery last long. For me it last like 4 days even I use it watching movies

About this laptop on sale, and it was a great price. Overall, it's easy to use and accepts other apps. Battery life is good seems to be well made. I would highly recommend this for other people to purchase.

Wanted a laptop that would boot up fast to use for quick web searches or streaming video. This HP Chromebook fits these requirements perfectly. The battery lasts a long time before needing to be recharged. Streaming video looks great. Best Buy had the best price for this model.

I love the size of the laptop. This was an upgrade for my daughters school laptop from the big and bulky heavy computer (HP) that she moves from . I say this computer is like a newer younger super model. Especially the weight, which is light, and it is quite easy to operation. hmmmm, I give it a high score, say, 10 out of 10!

Fantastic computer, perfect for my uses. I only needed it for basic office work like documents, sheets, invoices, and it's efficient at doing all of that. Everything is neatly organized and the computer runs smooth and fast. It runs basic games like Roblox pretty good (kids in the house use it on their own profile). Perfect family laptop for an affordable price. If you're on a budget and don't plan to do heavy gaming on it, then this laptop is perfect for you!
