I purchased a 15.6" HP Laptop computer on Dec 31, 2023, for my wife. It has an AMD Ryzen 5 752OU, 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. My wife is very pleased with the increased speed from her previous HP laptop, and also likes the battery life and display. The only disappointment is that the CD/DVD drive was not included. It seems the new laptops omit this valuable feature!

I bought the laptop for my dad for Christmas so it’s been about 6 months now since purchase. He’s 70 years old so for him the computer is pretty easy to use. He doesn’t use it for much other than his job and surfing the web. The battery lasts pretty long and the computer is pretty fast.

So far this machine is doing everything I need. Wakes up quickly, the 16 gigs flies through my morning paper, mail and work. The machine itself is sleek and light. Easily transported. Video is a clear smooth HD. This is a work in progress on a new computer, if I encounter any issues as I increase my demands on it, I will update this review. But as for now 5 stars.

I bought this laptop for my wife, she is a freelance graphic designer. She says it's perfect for her needs, she loves it's wide screen and portability since it's really lightweight. We chose it for it's great processor, ram and storage capacity. Great deal for what we paid!

Purchased as a gift for my daughter to replace an older HP computer with similar compatibilities, just outlived its life. This one is easy to set up. It walks you through everything. Runs fast. She uses it for work but also for gaming (can handle games like Fortnite with a steady refreshed and sharp picture) as well as watching movies. Great purchase flr the price.

Really happy with this HP laptop. Was a little cautious with the Ryzen processor but after some research...i was comfortable. Not only was the price great but it has more memory etc compared to others. Just starting to get it set up, but i know if i have any problems...best buy is there for me.

Not what I was expecting from a laptop with 16Gb of RAM and a 256 Gb SSD. I have used Chrome browser for years on both my mostly Macs and Windows machines (from work and personal) and never really experienced any issues. Immediately when using edge in 'S' mode, while shopping and comparing prices with about 8 tabs open, the machine started lagging. The fans went on full blast and the CPU was 75% and above - with most of it coming from the active tab I was on in Edge. Quickly, I closed all my tabs...downloaded Chrome...tuned it a bit (while taking Windows out of S mode) and although I got somewhat better performance, it was no where near acceptable. Honestly, I get better performance from my Chromebook with 4Gb RAM. Also, I thought no matter how I toyed with it, the screen was very washed out. Overall, I wanted it to work out, but maybe it was the AMD Ryzen 5 Processor or a combo of things but it was just not the right laptop for me. I had to spend a few more dollars and go with an Intel i7 with a better graphics card.

I am very happy with my purchase. I use my laptop for shopping, email and word processing. This one is as fast as I could ask for. It boots up and is ready to go in just seconds. The battery lasts about 8 hours before reaching the 20% level and time to plug in. The display is high quality. For the money, I don't think you could beat it.

Great price, useful for me, lightweight, easy to carry

This computer is excellent for the price. Just gotta remove the bloatware. Its fast and Im never waiting on it to load my tasks. Out of the box the screen looked a little hazy to me but was able to fix after adjusting the contrast. The body of the computer is fine but the internals make it worth the price.

The HP 15.6 laptop is a great computer. I had one a couple years ago and still running strong. I bought this one on Black Friday and going to give this along with HP printer for a Christmas gift. Great combination ! This will do everything anyone would need. It is the perfect size for home or on the go. I highly recommend it.

Does what I needed it too. Fast, nice large monitor. Needed a replacement for items that I cant do on a tablet or phone. Taxes, word or excel documents, and a place to save the documents. Was in S mode but it is pretty easy to turn off if you want to download additional software than the store.
