    This is the fourth HP laptop i have purchased. I trust the brand. This particular unit has design flaw in the placement of the on/off switch. It seems overly sensitive on the keypad and it drops data i enter. Can't do much about the switch. I mated an external mouse and keyboard for better key entry ( using a usb port extender to salvage at least one port). I bought a different HP for serious work. I am not satisfied with this unit and do not recommend it.

    I bought this laptop on Black Friday. I did not use it until Begining of Feb'25. Started loading my programs but noticed that it was taking unusually too long to power on, then it was not recognizing monitors via HDMI or USB-c. Now I feel i'm defusing a bomb. Best buy front desk did not offer alternatives. I cancel my BB Plus membership. Now, I'll try dealing with manufacturer's warranty. what it looked like a great Black Friday deal, resulted in a cheap purchase and an expensive lesson. HP brand is not realiable for me anymore, I had 2 other HP laptops that failed my screen (Spectre, $1,500 +) and the other one, 1 of the CPU was not running.
