I bought this laptop on Black Friday. I did not use it until Begining of Feb'25. Started loading my programs but noticed that it was taking unusually too long to power on, then it was not recognizing monitors via HDMI or USB-c. Now I feel i'm defusing a bomb. Best buy front desk did not offer alternatives. I cancel my BB Plus membership. Now, I'll try dealing with manufacturer's warranty. what it looked like a great Black Friday deal, resulted in a cheap purchase and an expensive lesson. HP brand is not realiable for me anymore, I had 2 other HP laptops that failed my screen (Spectre, $1,500 +) and the other one, 1 of the CPU was not running.

Good computer. Have not had it long enough for a better/worse review.

We have only had this laptop 6 months. It has not been dropped or anything other mishap. Yet the screen suddenly went out. There are no cracks in the glass, no dent or anything. Is the the screen that fragile that it just goes out?

Delivered to the wrong address and I don’t have my laptop, picture uploaded as delivery proof is not my front door. Called Best Buy customer service and I’m still waiting on confirmation for a second shipment. What a waste of time and money.

bought as open box item. battery does not hold a charge for more than 20 minutes. Junk!

Keyboards isn't what i was expecting. Keys and mouse don't work well.

Touchpad issues right out of the box. Googled and found other users experiencing the same issue. The touchpad lags and freezes during use. It will randomly select things, open windows and links while simply trying to move the cursor. The buttons on the touchpad also do not work well. Quite often you have to click the mouse button 3 or more times before it registers a click. Returned immediately.

The keyboard is not very easy to use. And the mouse pad makes it hard to control cursor. Would not recommend as a computer. Disappointed. Cheap!!!

Had it for 2 months and the mouse pad buttons are already stuck and not useable. Other than that its alright I guess.

Keyboard too grainy (like cement). Readability of the gray keys and white/beige lettering -- poor. No key backlite to help keyboard readability.

Looks to be fragile. Speed is okay. Not a great purchase.

I purchased this computer and after the 14 day return period, the track pad started getting stuck. I have been a Best Buy member and also customer for almost a decade and when I called support, I was told that I should go and repair it. That is highly unacceptable. Why do I have to repair it. Because the issue is set to happen after the 14 days then I have to suffer?

The touchpad simply wasn’t connected internally. No amount of futzing with drivers, etc. could fix it. Had to return it and get a Dell instead. Too bad because we’ve liked HP in the last.

Purchased an open box computer as a Christmas gift. Cannot connect to our home WiFi no matter what we do.

To be honest I'm tired of bringing my brand new laptop in for service!!! This will be the 3rd time I have to bring it in.

Battery drains very fast, sometimes system mall function

Worst online purchase experience ever!!! Will never shop again!!!! Took more than three weeks for them to cancel the order while I have been told it’s on its way all along.

could not boot up, I returned it next day. your Geek-Squad guys are not doing their job well.

An utter disappoint. Because it has Windows preintalled it limits your ability to download other browsers. The speakers are horrible. Will be looking to trade this in for another model without Windows
