This laptop is kinda slow but if your not really doing anything majoy it work ok

I got this for my Lil sis for grad school. she is really enjoying it and says that it works well for what she needs to do.

This is a nice basic computer for my needs. May be too slow for certain applications.

After discussion with an associate in the store I determined that this machine would be sufficient for my needs - it is.

I purchased the open box item, so there's the disclaimer. I purchased the laptop and it legit died after two months. I was completing a scholarship essay, and went to revise my document, turned the computer on, and it requested that I install an operating system and to insert the hard drive. I bought it to Geek Squad and the guy was like, "yea it's dead." So I replaced the hard drive and reinstalled windows and three months later it died again. Same issue. I used to have an HP laptop a long time ago and it had the same issue, but it did last years before it died. Never again. V disappointed.

overall, this laptop looks very nice... on the outside. the actual performance is not good. to just set up the laptop took way too long, and to wait for it to turn on is outrageous. it is slow, and video audio lags to the actual video (like youtube) and internet browsers take forever to load. lots of lag. not impressed.

Seems slow .. and def heavy. Would recommend spend a bit more and better served

This is a nice basic laptop. I got it for my mother and it's great for what she needs - order stuff online and such.

I needed a computer for travel and mobility in the house as well. I wanted a DVD drive so did not want a notebook.

runs a bit slower than my old computer that broke ...but runs is better than broke

Good laptop with basic functionality. It is not for gamers but it is great for surfing the web and writing papers.

Laptop is great only drawback is you have to buy Microsoft Office as computer does not have program preinstalled.

Works fine most of the time. There are times I think it needs more memory (4 GB). Slow response time at times.
