Only downfall thus 3 star rating is because the keyboard is not lit, making it difficult for someone to use if they are vision impaired

Received it, installed software, got a error on startup that HP support said was un-recoverable, Best Buy sent another unit, and it did the same thing - returned and was refunded - will not buy HP products again - seemed cheaply made

My old computer has black keys with white letters and easy to see. The new one has silver keys and thin black letters. Very hard to see. Sorry I bought it.

The laptop itself would have been fine but as soon as I got it I turned it on and there was a green spot on the screen. I took it to the nearest Best Buy and that experience was AWFUL. I originally wanted to try and exchange it for a different laptop with more memory so that means more $$$ but the customer service guy dealing with my return was so rude that I’ll never spend another dime at that store.

You are getting what you paid for. Only draw back is the screen pixel rate or display rate is like a 1330 by 780 or something along those lines. However, it isn't all that bad. I would recommend

I just bought this laptop so I havent done much on. It seems ok for the price. It could do with a better keyboard, I do not like the keyboard.

Great fast laptop. Only downside is the keyboard does not light up. Hard to see.

I hate this computer. By far, the worst, slowest computer I have ever purchased. Typically I buy budget laptops and I have generally low expectations but I don't need much computing power for my basic needs. I don't game at all! This computer has the slowest processing speed I have ever seen. It takes about 10 seconds to load pages when using any search engine or moving through websites. The curser doesn't catch up to my typing speed for a second or two delay. When turning on the laptop, it is a 2-3 minute process of having to push and hold, or just push the on button--it usually takes 4-8 times of trying to turn on before it actually does. I called HP customer care and she told me I should remove the power cord from the laptop from time to time because all laptops need that. OK, that doesn't change anything. My old Dell is better than this--thank God I saved it. This HP is a piece of junk.

It's bigger than I expected, at first all was great. Now after 4 weeks of having this laptop it has been acting up. doesn't hold a charge all day and when plugged in won't open up to my screensaver. Not worth how much I paid for it, now have to take it in!

Bought it to do light gaming. It works the way that we wanted it to.

Seems like an ok laptop but I do not use this laptop a lot.

Screen appears very washed out. I have to tilt the screen all different ways to see detail in photos. Touchpad doesn't really right-click unless you press the very bottom right corner.

Garbage. This was supposed to be a new computer in an "open box". What it turned out to be is someone's used reject; it was locked with some guy's name and pin number. Customer service was no help- We don't understand why you don't like your new computer... Now I'm still trying to get a refund after returning the unit the day after it was delivered. Guaranteed I'll never buy from this website again!

Terrible experience with this laptop. Continuously looses connection and pages are super slow to load.

HP Technical Support would not get the laptop working despite it being brand new and the factory settings making it impossible to get to any website without having to reset the modem because of a DNS error. They insisted they would only fix it if I paid for support!! Brand new computer! No other computer on my network having that problem!!

It doesn’t have an Ethernet connection it doesn’t have a dvd input, didn’t realize it until I needed it.

Not much to say. Wasn't very pleased at several aspects of it and I returned it.

Laptop came with a defective microphone. Microphone don’t work, I brought the laptop to Argentina as a gift and customer service online told me they need the laptop in order to help, I was not offered tech online to see if it could be fixed online
