Laptop needed better software?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Laptop was easy to set up until I got to downloading all data from pc. It would not do it wirelessly as the version of software that came with the laptop would not support this function without upgrading for $99.00!

Only Used Briefly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did purchase this laptop but only used it a couple of days. My old laptop, which I though was DOA turned out to have new life so I returned the new one. I must say though that while I used it I did nor like ir as well as my old ASUS.

DO NOT BUY!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.More or less useless. I purchased this to replace my 10yo Dell based on specs. I did extensive research regarding Processor performance and SDD. It is constantly running out of memory and locking up on the simplest of tasks. I try to look up something on the local drive and it goes into an extended scan loop. I've owned multiple other HP Laptops and thought I was safe getting this one. WRONG!!! Something has changed with HP and it's NOT for the good!

MS 11s is the Worst
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.MS 11s is the worst! There are so many known issues one of which is that it can't connect to multiple screens. Not sure how the laptop is as I couldn't utilize it because of that issue. It is unfortunate that MS forces retailers to push out software that is clearly not ready for the standard user.

Basically a cell phone
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cant even look at what's on it without logging it into Wi-Fi first. Without protection. It's like acell phone instead of a computer. I tried to cancel before it left the warehouse but have to return it.

Good home laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice laptop. We have always liked HP products. Bought it about a month ago. Windows 11 was to intrusive starting up trying to force us into the Microsoft fold that we deleted it and installed Ubuntu Linux instead. If you turn off secure boot in bios, Ubuntu installs cleanly and runs to much better than Windows.
