Let me start by saying that since buying a Chromebook with an IPS/Full HD screen, I'm spoiled. The HP laptop has a good enough screen if that is what you're used to. Mine was an open-box in great shape. This laptop would actually be a good desktop replacement. Meaning if you had a desktop that was somewhat dated and you already had a screen, keyboard, mouse, then you simply plug this guy in and you're set. However, this laptop suffers in the following areas - the keyboard - small and poorly functioning trackpad - a so-so screen - and so-so battery life I have returned the HP and replace it with the following (another open-box). Dell - Inspiron 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i3 - 8GB Memory - 128GB Solid State Drive - Black Model Number: I7353-1951BLK SKU: 5216501 Also, want to add that BB in store help was phenomenal during all steps of this process.

I usually don't prefer HP laptops. But I bought this for my sister as she is preparing for her exams and since she is a dentist, she don't really use laptop other than opening word documents and browsing internet. I used this for my programming purposes and it really didn't give the throughput as I expected. The battery life is not so good and the processor speed is slow compared to the other laptops.

I bought HP - 15.6" Laptop - Intel Core i5 - 8GB Memory - 2TB Hard Drive in July, 2017. It is very slow - takes almost 1 minute to turn on and off. Even simple task like I update my Excel. It gets worse if I get on my email or web search. It works like an old grandma. :( Hopefully it does come with the big space as it promised -8GB Memory & 2TB Hard Drive.

Happy with this HP laptop! It's as it was represented and as I expected. With a max budget of $600 I was able to get all the features/ability I wanted, except SSD, for $400 (certified open box - great deal). I couldn't justify the price difference to get something with an SSD when this one has a 1TB hard drive. Traded a little speed for a lot of storage...

Simple box for my wife to use on email and web surfing. Did not need higher capability. Good value

I personally use this for low-end gaming with friends or just looking at e-mails. I get solid fps in games such as Cs:Go and Team: Fortress 2. Great Product for the money.

Great for school! Easy to carry around. The memory is good.

I purchased this laptop for my mother-in-law, who is not very computer savvy. After I did the initial setup, my mother-in-law was able to use the laptop with minimal questions. Much faster than her very old laptop. She is able to surf the web, chat with family, and get caught up on the news. She is very happy and satisfied with this laptop.

Good laptop especially for the price. Was 150 off and has plenty of speed and memory

This Laptop is great. The processor is fast with tons of storage. I purchased this Laptop when it was on sale for $429.00 and I am happy with my purchase.

I chose this computer over the touchscreen model because it had a 2TB drive. I've read reviews that touch screens are somewhat gimmicky. Speakers could be louder but it gets the job done.

This is a great laptop and was a great price! It has some things to get used to with windows 10 but I really enjoy using it and am very glad I made the purchase!

HP cases are notoriously cheap feeling but this computer isn't cheap inside. It has a fast processor and decent battery life but lacks Bluetooth and 10/100/1000 (it only has 10/100 ports) for wifi and Ethernet. If you don't mind caps on your internet speed but still exceed so most connections this is fine. I got it in sale so adding cheap adapter extras was worth saving $200 over other brands.

I recently purchased a new laptop which was from HP. I am a passed user of HP products & have always had good service and performance from them. I purchased it at Best Buy vs. HP direct because if any service is needed, I go to BB to the Geek Squad for immediate service.

A great buy. My only issues involved Windows10 and my desire to not have Onedrive. The Geek Squad helped, but it still shows up in File Explorer even. At least it is not accessible. I love the 2TB hard drive.

This computer is great. It's fast has a lot of memory and has been a great computer for us.
