This is our 3rd HP notebook. Performance is good. Everything seems fine except there is no visual indicator for the num-lock (that is off by default.) Other than that oversight, we are happy.

This is a solid laptop. Once everything was updated, it works great. It’s fluid, no buffering. A couple things I don’t like: the power button is odd, small, and hard to press. The display does not light up bright enough for me, 250 nits, but it’s okay. Other than those few things, it’s a good laptop for the price. I’m keeping it, the hunt for a good laptop is finally over!

Excellent laptop, really fast, I use it every day!

Owned this laptop for about 6 months and have already needed to bring it in for service due to repeated system crashes. Outside of the crashing, there are other minor annoyances such as updates failing due to both Windows and HP trying to install the same driver updates, as well as the wifi being disabled unless the system is rebooted. Many of these issues can most likely be attributed to the Windows 11 OS, but still the number of issues is too great to ignore. Many users will also encounter Windows locking down what apps can be installed, and the myriad of steps needed to be taken just to get 3rd party apps such as Chrome or Firefox installed. Aside from the software aspects, the hardware itself is okay at best. The casing feels like cheap plastic, and there's a bounciness in the frame while typing. Speaking of the keyboard, the silver keys with gray lettering can be difficulto read in certain lighting. The fan noise is noticable, but not too distracting. Overall, I expected more given the price of the laptop, and had I known about the sub-par quality would have spent a little extra to get a better machine.

It was very easy for me to set up and use. It came with everything I need plus lots of extra features that I’m learning about.

Exactly what my college student daughter needed and for a great price! Very happy with this laptop, highly recommend!
