It's a very good laptop, very faster and easy to use

The computer seems fast enough. Nice amount of RAM, plenty of storage, overall speed is really nice. I just can't get over how bad the screen looks. First, you see a very pixelized screen. Second, you have to be looking directly at the screen to get a decent picture. If you change the viewing angle at all the screen looks very washed out. Also, the battery life seems a little short. If I had known this before I bought it I would have purchased a different computer.

So far all is well, I am missing backlit keys though. many times I have wished for them. My last computer had them and didn't realize how much I relied on them at times. especially in the dark. Otherwise the computer has performed as expected...the only reason for the 4 star is that of not having backlit keys.

Had decent speed right out of the box (and loved it connected to the internet right away each time), but there were some big downsides to it. I returned it (beyond horrible experience at Best Buy doing the return by the way). Issues with the laptop for the return: First, it was extremely distracting glare from the screen was debilitating for someone with migraines. I could not get the glare to be at a reasonable level when viewing, it was like looking in a mirror. I bought an anti glare screen protector for the computer (appropriate size and type) and it did not fit inside the bezel frame of the screen. Since it is not a solid piece of glass, standard protectors won't fit for this size (about 1/16" off). I could not possibly use this without an anti-glare cover on it. Secondly, the arrow buttons for the keyboard are very small, and even though I have tiny hands (I wear a size 4 wedding band) I could not seem to hit the right buttons because it was too easy to "fat finger" it. The scrolling was glitchy. I reset the parameters and still found it to scroll in chunks, not smoothly. I also did not like the fact that with Windows S you cannot install Zoom as an application. I need this for my productivity suite and the only way it would allow the install is if I stop using Windows 10 in S mode permanently on my system. What is the point of this? Why can't I, as the admin on the computer, override a single app from a reputable company? Finally, the keyboard itself overall felt off. I am in IT and work on a computer or laptop all day. The whole layout was shifted left on this keyboard and I found myself filling my emails and documents with typos left and right. This was disappointing. Biggest thing was the glare for me. If you have any vision problems or issues with migraines this is not the computer for you.

Purchase this laptop since my previous one of 6 yrs battery finally died can only use while plugged up..At first wanted to return since I couldn't download apps. Google info on how to change the security setting now it works great love the bluetooth hook up, seems to move pretty fast.

This computer was too heavy for me to carry in a bag. It might be better for strong younger people, but not for seniors. I couldn't see the keyboard at night with the silver keys and no backlights. Again, as a senior, this was not for me. I got a backlit keyboard.

battery life is disappointing, have had occasional issue with it turning on. although when I bought it there was a free 6 month security package included, that somehow got dropped. after calling and talking to 3 different people, the last one refused to do anything to restore it!

My son used this for school and he had no complaints whatsoever. He also used it for gaming and it didn't lag as much as we very expecting it to lag. Awesome laptop at an awesome price!

This computer was a gift for my wife. She is thrilled with the speed of processor, how she can have multiple programs open with no loss in use (speed) and battery life is amazing. This is a great budget buy for what you get for it.

It always takes a little time to get used to a new laptop, but once I did, I am loving it, especially it 1 TB hard drive. Thankfully I had the Geek squad to help me after not realizing the default drive was the baby C drive instead of the hefty D. Bless them!
