Why they'd put a machine with solid specs like this in S mode... beyond me. Anyway it will work for what we need it for, quite well. S-mode removed after first reboot... Open Shell installed to get a real menu system back (win8/win10 start menus so bad...) and it will do what we need it for for years to come.

This laptop is easy to setup and with the extra RAM and SSD hard drive, it runs boots quickly and operates very quickly. Not sure how it would do for gamers but for casual home use or home office use, this definitely is a great buy.

This is my first laptop, always had desktops. I like the compactness of this laptop, which was recommended by my daughter. I do not use it everyday, just for some personal things and I'm sure it will give me excellent usage.

So far so good with this new computer. The only cons (which are my fault for not checking) are the limited number of USB ports and the keyboard is not backlit, otherwise this computer is perfect for what I need it for.

i love the ease of browsing and purchasing. The thing that pushed my 4 star rating to a 5 star is how quickly i received my item. I was supposed to get it on a Tuesday, but I received it the Saturday before. Perfect.

Would be a great laptop for normal use and watching videos. I purchased in order to stream on Facebook Live. Within 10 minutes video would freeze. Laptop is great for pretty much anything else but gaming and live stream.

I haven’t spent much time with the laptop yet, but it was very easy to set up and I was pleasantly surprised that it had its own security and that the apps I had on my iPad were good for the laptop too. Easy to use and a nice size. Got it to do office work once I retire.

Just started working from home and needed a powerful laptop with certain features on it. Laptops are selling out as soon as they're listed, so felt lucky to finally get one that meets all of my needs!!

Awesome laptop! Great for students or working from home. You have the speed of SSD and extra storage space with the 1TB HDD. 12GB of RAM is plenty to handle all all the task you throw at it.

This laptop is very good. It has great features, display, and sound. Compared to other laptops that cost way more, this laptop is cheap and does the job for basic things. I highly recommend it!

Very happy with the laptop itself so far. I wish I could have picked the item up in store or gotten it faster(it ended up delayed during shipping) Great product and features for the price!

Never got the chance to actually use it, I found a better price on a Lenovo laptop with the same specs. Bestbuy still gives me points for reviewing a product I returned though. I'll take it.

I have only had this a few days but so far I love this lap top.

This HP Touch Screen Laptop has worked well so far for my daughter's online schooling. She loves the touch screen, but it is a bit slow, but not super slow, so far, so good.

The only thing I don't like is the letters on the keyboard are small and hard to see. I wish the keyboard was backlit. Other than that, so far, it is a great computer.

Bought this to replace a 12 year old laptop. Works great for the things I use it for. Saving of photographs, online scrapbooking and crafting with a Cricut.

Good quality laptop for the money. Nice size screen, great processor, imagine quality is quite good. Keyboard has not backlight and the fan can be a tad noisy. Those aren’t dealbreakers for me, however.

The HP laptop performs very well. I was particularly pleased with the help provided to guide me through setup. It is light weight with an extended battery life.

So far I'm loving this laptop. Still installing some things. But so for, we're good. Also it's very lightweight.

It operates as expected. Its a good Linux Mint machine.
