Bought this laptop for my granddaughter as a first. The I3 processor and 6gb RAM with the TB hard drive is a great combination. The one feature she raves about is the touch screen. It would not be a good buy for myself as it is slower than I can accept, but highly recommended for a first juvenile computer.

I got a great deal on this laptop. I have returned to HP after going through them in the past every year. I have been getting Dell laptops normally. My Dell laptop hard drive died on me the second time and I could not get a new one from Dell. I bought this touchscreen laptop. Great touchscreen. Very fast. Great screen. I am very happy with my purchase.

The screen hinges and curser buttons are not the best quality...use the touch screen or a mouse to navigate. Overall performance is above average for the price. Add more memory capacity if you are a big time gamer or have a lot of apps that gobble up the gigs.

The laptop is not the most powerful on the planet but it packs a lot of bunch. Lot of storage, love the touchscreen(don't need the 360 degree feature like other laptops) and you can run multiple programs without slowing down the performance.

This is a very fast computer to own. It's very easy to learn. I think it's a very good computer for beginners.

This is my first experience with a touch-screen laptop and I am quite pleased. Responsiveness to touch is very good. While I am still getting used to touch basics, my only cons are that the size of the touch-pad causes issues at times - I will inadvertently touch it and the screen at the same time while resting my hand on the laptop. My only other con is that I wish the keyboard was lighted. Granted the lighted keyboard is an option available on other laptops, not this one, but it does create problems at times. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with the operation and performance of the system, aside from MS Edge - it has issues with some sites, including Facebook. But I have not been a fan of IE for some years now. In summary, I think it is a great laptop for the price and I have no regrets about my purchase.

I originally purchased a different laptop for my niece that quit working within a couple weeks of receiving it. So far this computer has done everything she's asked it to. Quick enough, has enough memory for her, and she loves the touchscreen! It's been a great replacement computer, should've purchased it first!

Very light n transportable. Big screen and keys. Great choice for teenagers for school, gaming and movies.

I purchased the HP laptop (with its Windows 10 OS) for $299.95 plus tax after some sales offers to lower its price. It is a light-weight, black laptop with many features and it can handle video streaming, casting and a lot of things I will never use. The price I paid is about one-third to a quarter of the cost of an Apple laptop, which, although higher in quality, is far too expensive. Both this HP and the corresponding Apple product should last about the same length of time. I think I got the value. Seriously, if this HP laptop lasts 1 year it will have already equaled the cost of owning a Mac lasting 3 or 4 years. I hope my HP lasts at least 4 years, but even if it dies in 2 years this will be a better dollar bargain than buying a Mac. Think first what your needs are, then purchase your PC.

This is my first laptop and I have found it easy to use and had great performance with all the features.

Touch screen is nice over all computer performance is good

I purchased this computer to replace an Acer with the I3 chip. I am pleased with the computer especially the touch screen. I have some reservations about Windows 10 but am getting used to it. The speed and memory are great.

I was pleased with the performance overall; a bit slow on the internet, but for the value, well worth it. I also bought one for my adult daughter. It's a very slim laptop which makes it very easy to pack and carry, with plenty of room for folders, documents, etc. Would purchase it again.

I like my HP. Its fast and the large memory is nice. My only issue with this laptop is the size. I did not realize just how bulky it was until it didn't fit into my backpack. Battery life about 3 hours.
