I gave this laptop an average rating because the speaker on the right side of the unit sounds "blown". It is still under warranty but every call to HP service results in running through the same diagnostic tests that find no fault with the speaker. Now I realize that a laptop in this price range is not going to have audiophile-level speakers, but they should be able to deliver sound without cracking and distortion. It may be worth purchasing the Best Buy warranty with this unit so that there is a least a physical location where you can bring the laptop to have a technician look at it. On the plus side, except for the above issue, the laptop has been working very well for me. My previous laptop was 6 or 7 years old and running very slow, so it is a pleasure to have a laptop that responds to inputs in a reasonable amount of time. I only use this laptop for the most basic of tasks however; surfing the internet and an occasional Zoom meeting.

I got this for my daughter. She is in college. She loves it. It was very easy to get started and easy to download all the online programs needed for her classes.

computer works very well for me. I would give it 5 stars if I could get it to open without having to enter a code or password. I am the only one that has access to it, yet there appears to be no way to open it up with one or both. what bummer. I have been through help and the internet and cannot find a workable answer to my question.

Works good so far. Only issue we have is that it will shut down and have to be rebooted...this has happened several times in the first dozen or so times the computer was used...not sure if this is a bug or a defective machine...will keep using it and see if the problem goes away, if not, we will get in touch with you. The computer is pretty good so far. Only draw back is the silver key board. There isn't much contrast between the black figures and the silver keys. The figures zre too light. Should be bolder. It was easy to set up and runs well. Hopefully it stays that way.

It is perfect for my daughter's college work. She works a full-time job and doing college. She also has 3 sons so it works very well for her to be able to take it everywhere and stay on to of her college work. She said she has no problems logging in on different Wi-Fi sites.

i ordered on line because the delivery time was shorter than if I waited for the product to arrive in store. I don't usually buy something site unseen but I was in a bind. I didn't remember how may days they said to expect delivery, but it was the second day into the range.

A truly excellent laptop with great specs. The hard drive is quiet and does not heat up. The abundance of memory allows for the opening and running of a multitude of apps simultaneously and the screen is sharp and crystal clear. A very good value for the money.

The sound of this computer was very bad it was cheap and the mic did not catch the voices when using zoom so good thing that Best Buy took it back and bought a Dell was much better.!!!

Very functional laptop with good memory and processing speed. Comfortable keypad area, good visual and color presentation, although slight loss when looking from wider angle. Decent sound. Keys are not backlit. Very good battery life. Adequate ports. Solid case.

Excellent product. Worth the money. No problems thus far. I got a free 30 day Web Root antivirus trial, and forgot to install it. I called Geek Squad two months later, and was allowed to start the free trial. Thank you, Best Buy!

Honestly this laptop was everything O wanted at the perfect price. But when I received it I was very disappointed in the picture quality. Picture was very pixelated for a very recent model, I didnt want to but ended up returning it.

Got this computer more or less just to surf the internet and for things my phone can't do. Download pictures and to do work documents. So far no complaints. Does everything I need it to do.

Purchased for my Mom. It is okay i was hoping it would perform a little faster than her laptop of 2 yrs ago but they are pretty much the same. And she has fiber, probably should have upgraded more.

I do like my new laptop a lot. It is exactly what I was looking for except for 1 item. A lighted keyboard. I realize it is my fault for "assuming" it had a lighted keyboard.... LOL Other than that, it is perfect!!
