Not the best construction but definitely the most computer for the price. You get a nice i5 and good amount of ram. The more expensive machines are light and have better cases. It's all about value and needs.

fast processor slowed down by slow disk drive. WISH i could upgrade to a solid stat drive, even if it were smaller than the hard drive on the computer. Always seems to be updating the operating sysem..

I had a different HP before this one and really got used to Windows. I really enjoy the update on windows from my old laptop to this one. I didn't think I would enjoy the touch screen as much as I did. I'm still trying to figure out all of the features but so far I love it.

everything works great. I didn't think I would like the touch screen. changed my mind real quick and use it more than ever. the only thing I would recommend for this laptop is a wireless mouse.

The price is great for the processor and touch screen. The case, keyboard and mouse pad are as basic. You get a lot for the money if you don't want or need a pretty case and backlit keyboard.

My HP purchase was for class and I am enjoying the experience of having a laptop.

Battery life is a little short, but that also may be because I'm a programmer so I have a lot of apps running whenever I'm using it. Overall, though, it's still a really good laptop.

I bought this for personal use. Use it for basic office functions like word, excel and PowerPoint. Laptop has adequate speed and and storage capacity. Size is good for mobile use.

I was very impressed with the fact that this system came with the latest (7th gen) core i5 processor and had touch screen. I bought it for my son and he's able to play games at decent frame rates. That's pretty impressive for a laptop in this price range.

This laptop was everything I wanted, and at a price I could afford. Was extremely excited when I came across it in the store. This is my third HP in 15 years. Wanted a touch screen and am loving it. Have not had one issue with it since it was purchased.

Needed a new updated computer and this met all the specs I needed for a decent price. Bonus was that it was a touch screen. Makes using software for creating projects easier.

I found this laptop to be of comfortable use (resting arms or typing). This is the only brand I consider for a desktop/laptop, HP gets it every time! The touchscreen is handy at moments, I didn't have to have it but glad it was a feature with my laptop.

When my old computer died, this one fit the bill. I was looking for a decent computer at a reasonable price. I know that there are features on here that I don't even use so I can't speak to everything on here, but it works great for what I need.

I wanted to rate NO star I've avoided buying HP Took a risk and it blew up in my face. You get what you pay for. Had my laptop for 4 weeks and few days fan was on overload for three days and then just shut off and won't turn back on. HP manufacturer is replacing my power cord for now. We will see if that fixes the problem. But I'm regretting the buy already. Cause I know there will be more problems to come. This brand is flawed and always had been. I had a toshiba for 12 years, the fan only came on torwards my 10th year of owning it. Maybe once or twice when I used it for over multiple hours at a time. Never shut off on me or had any other problems.

I had purchased this laptop because my other one was becoming extremely slow and there were 3 people sharing it. I love the HP brand and my previous was an HP brand so it was a no brainer. Fast processor, lots of storage space for class work.

I bought this one in exchange for the previous one which had a bad hard drive. Everything started up fine. Upon reading of the SMART data & Logs a machine with less than 18 hours on it had signs of failing. Pauses, un responsiveness, and read & write failures logged. Last hp computer for me. I do not know why they keep changing brans of hard drives they put in these. Ones with the HTSG drives were fantastic. I compared the data from the new one to an old one and its hard drive is 100 percent with no errors. It seems there is a bad batch of hard drives and this new image with the anniversary edition of windows is a little unstable. Very dis pleased as I have not been able to get a working machine yet.

I read the reviews before buying this laptop and did my research before buying this laptop and it did not disappoint! I use this laptop everyday and it delivers a great performance for everyday office work and would also be great for school!

Bought this computer for my granddaughter for college. Works great!

Great laptop, gives good battery life, touch screen is very usable and not too laggy. Wish it would come with Microsoft Office included but I wont count that against the laptop. For the price range and what i need it for, works perfect!
