This system is not working as expected. Getting restarted while working and asking for bootable drives and asking for system repairs. I show the photos of errors while returning this.

I am very dissatisfied with the purchase of this lap top I wish I would of never spent the money on it. it's a problem after problem. never will I purchase another one

Disk reads at 100% during the boot process and stays there for a long time. Tried several things to set it right but never worked. Thank god for the return policies.

Worst laptop I have ever bought. Geek squad has been trying to fix it and cannot. I will never buy anything HP or from Best Buy again after this nightmare.

Replaced a previous laptop. Weight nice and crisp screen. Start up and installing software went very well. Price was right

I have had this computer for about a month now, and have really enjoyed it. I love the touch screen! The speed and screen quality are good. The storage space is great. My one complaint would be that it is a little difficult to find the keys without looking sometimes. They are in a different location than my previous laptop (a Dell), and they are not lighted up. Although the touch screen helps, I am going to look into getting a mouse for easier maneuvering.

Crashes and repairs drive almost ever time I use it

I walked into a store about three weeks ago because my last laptop was just not doing what I needed (not enough RAM). This machine had the RAM I needed, it did have a few bad reviews for hard drives. But I was not concerned, I can deal with a few minor hard drive problems. Well maybe not! I've had to rebuild the hard drive once already, as the installed McAfee product locked me out of the hard drive. This required me to format the drive and reinstall Windows. Then this morning I come downstairs and see an error on the screen. So I'm dismayed to see an error saying that the computer can't find the hard drive. So I try to press F2 and find anything and once again there is nothing - the program suggests I open up the computer and check the connections. This is very disappointing for a laptop that is only three weeks old. I had read the reviews about bad hard drives but figured this would have been resolved. It seems I was wrong. Now I'm going to have to crack open a three week old laptop and see if I can figure out if the hard drive is actually bad or maybe got unplugged.

Updating a comment...Battery is only good for about 3 hrs..takes 1 and 1/2 hr to charge. I use high screen brightness, but need it on high as I don't find the screen particularly bright. Great for movies I have no complaints. I like that the caps lock key has a green light when it is on. I find it very helpful.

This is my second HP computer I had recently purchased because I made the mistake of not reading the details of the previous computer. I bought an HP with only 24 gigs of memory and that computer was terrible. This one is a dream compared to what I previously owned. While starting up, it takes the computer to warm up but once it does, it runs great. Perfect for if you are a college student. I was wanting a MacBook but this is a wonderful substitute. Well worth my money.

So I read the reviews before I bought this laptop. They were mixed reviews so I decided to take a chance on it. Its a pretty good laptop, it does what I need it to do. The touchscreen is a plus even though I don't really use it. One thing I can say I hate is the speed. Its pretty slow for a HP. I expected better...and I hate that it freezes sometimes. Thought about taking it back (still might) but I don't know. We'll see.

Purchased this laptop on 3/25/17 and the battery life is bad. I need this for school and having more than 5hrs. would be great, I might be taking this one back to the store. Great price.
