very good laptop does all the stuff i need it to do and has a very good touch screen i bought it for starting collage in the fall but now im just getting to know it

Bought an hp notebook 15 ay103dx with money I didn't have to spare after my 15 year old laptop finally died. Juuust before the warranty expired, of course, the hard drive began to sound like a weed wacker. I took it to Geek Squad who told me it needed a new hard drive, under warranty. Whew, Just in the nick of time. They sent it to hp for me, very nice of them. I have no problem with Geek Squad. But...I've had the laptop back for a few weeks now, and although it is relatively quieter, this laptop is still noisy! even with the new hard drive. Of course, now out of warranty, hp says tough luck kid. And I just now called to see if there isn't something can be done, and the tech support woman transferred me to the repair line that IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. Feel like I got a lemon. And a lemon, by definition, is a thing that will drive you nuts indefinitely.

Ready to navigate, kids friendly which is a plus..

I bought this laptop because it was on sale for a great price at my local Best Buy. It works ok but I did not look closely at the features and just at the size of the hard drive and the memory and of course the price. but by far worst drawbacks for me is the lack of backlit keyboard and touch bar its really awkward.Trying to find the left button is really hard unlike the MacBook pro I have.it sounds petty but when you use your computer more than 6 hours a day it gets to you. and my last complaint is the screen resolution is not too sharp. but like I said for the price I paid ill get use to it

Plastic build, seems super fragile... but i installed a SSD, and made it super snappy now. Was a real pain in the butt to install tho, it had a clip structure that was tough to take off.

I love the ok laptop, just what I was looking for, did a research after.

I am writing this from my old laptop because the new one does not work at all. I will be taking it back to the store soon. I bought it a week ago and got so frustrated with trying to set it up that I let it sit until today. It freezes and has to be shut down just trying to open the internet. Each opening screen takes several minutes to load. It growls like it is running programs but I have not loaded any programs. Very unhappy!

I purchased this laptop less than a month ago. All of a sudden the fan just spooled up and now runs nonstop. Only way to stop it is unplug and remove battery. Called HP Tech Support, outsourced naturally. So he changed a battery setting from active to passive. Updated the BIOS. Like that would fix anything. SO now I will be without it for 4-5 days which cost $25.00, 7-9 days for free, or get the box and labels, take up to 60 days to ship. I use this daily for my company. Billing, ordering, quotes, etc. That is the best HP will do.

Good laptop for web/work and streamin.. I loved it

First one was taken back and exchanged after geek squad couldn't figure out why the mouse would disappear, videos would constantly pause on there own, and it overall just seemed to have a slow response. Second one seemed to do fine for the first 3 hours. Until I had open the disk drive. I gently pushed the open button it was permanently jammed. The disk drive would constantly open over and over again after being closed. Taking this back for a Refund no more exchanges. Maybe I just had bad luck but make sure yours is going to be up to par before you spend hours adding things to it.

it's a messed up computer. performance is very slow. slow download and very bad hard drive.

Made it to 30 days and now reporting a hard drive failure. I will attempt to return this to Best Buy. Purchased with American Express so hope they extend the warranty. Very disappointed after minimal use sitting on a desk. Deland

From day 1 it was nothing but constant errors and lagging. Returned it withing a week, got tired of fighting it to work properly. Got a refund and just bought a different one, praying it'll be a different outcome. This laptop almost gave me a techy ptsd, would not recommend it, barely opened documents and wouldn't even load Google half the time let alone attempting YouTube.

Start up is so slow you can take a shower first. Freezes up a lot. I returned the first one thinking it was just a defective one. The second one was even worst. Returning for a refund. I've had it for one week!! No more HP products for me.

I bought this laptop a month ago. From the beginning it's start freezing a lot. I tried renew antivirus and update often but still freezes. This laptop doesn't worth your money. Make your life easier don't even think to buy this trash.
