Sounds like it didn’t live up to expectations. The HP 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop with an i7 and 16GB should have been solid on paper, but many users find that model line underdelivers on build quality and reliability. The screens can be dim, the touch response laggy, and thermal management poor, which drags down performance over time. If you already tossed it, you probably made the right call. There are far better laptops in that range from ASUS, Lenovo, or Dell that actually use the same chip efficiently and hold up longer.

I love this computer. So far it has been a great purchase. Perfect working size. It is fast and the touch screen is definitely a plus.

Great laptop for causal browsing. Can even play my games on steam (not all), but can overheat so beware or buy a cooling fan for it.

Have had this laptop a few years. It's worked well and hasn't disappointed me. HP always has been a go-to for me for tech. The i7 makes it a spitfire!

It’s a really nice machine. The processor is fast. Runs very smoothly. Touchscreen is awesome for signing documents. Feels a lil flimsy. Would have been great if it had some metal feel to it.battery life is just ok.

Pretty good for the price. Fast & light weight. One bad thing is battery life. I knew HP laptop products have bad battery life compared to other computer manufacturers but I bought it because of good specs & price.

I now have 2 HP laptops, and I'm very pleased with both. Ease of use, speed, etc. is great. A little pricey but I consider it a long-term investment for the work I do.

This computer runs great. Is fast doesn’t hesitate to load a page. The battery last a long time as well. I enjoy it so far. I have only have it for 25 days now.

Love the ability of the screen and the keyboard since it has 10 key too. Great speed, great memory for the cost. You cannot go wrong with this HP!

I love that it’s light weight and has a large screen. The only downside is the glare of the screen because it’s a touch screen which wasn’t a feature I needed but a bonus.
