It's a good PC for office work, light database, spreadsheet and coding. I am happy overall with the performance for price, and the big screen is a plus! At this price though...a lighted keyboard should be included.

I've had the laptop for 3 weeks now. Lots of pluses and minuses, Plus: fast, the screen is crisp, and the price with holiday sale was $350 off. Minus: No Ethernet port, older generation RAM, power button and cortana button now takes space on the keyboard, but most of all, and the reason for the review rating - the keyboard lettering has ALREADY started to wear off! The A, S, C, period, comma, backspace, shift, and ctrl btns are already noticeably worn, and I expect within a month or two will be totally worn off. I'm already having to look at paint pens or stickers (REALLY?!?). For a brand new laptop, this is totally unacceptable. And, this experience has significantly colored my option of Best Buy in general. Why would they sell a set of laptops with this known problem, and, how long has the return policy on defective laptops been 14 DAYS?!? I now have to return this to HP?? After I've owned it for 3 weeks?? Geek Squad gave me the lowdown on this problem - those guys are great, but corporate and sales management sucks. Love the compact design. Lightweight and the large screen is great for being a senior citizen.

i buy hp latop in best buy is very nice, easy to carry to travel ,battery life and processor speed is nice .i recomend to buy everone this laptop.

We needed a replacement for our family computer and this gets the job done. It’s fast, has a nice display, and a numeric key pad. We do not game and have not watched movies from it as we mainly use it for paying bills, printing documents, etc. It’s quiet too having no loud fan noise.

The computer is fast, and has oodles of storage (solid-state). I miss the fingerprint reader I had on my previous laptop, and not having a built-in Ethernet port is a definite negative (I purchased an Ethernet-to-USB adapter to overcome that). When I first powered up the computer, I had to search for the power button - it's somewhat hidden, in the top row of keys. I would have preferred a built-in CD/DVD drive, but laptops generally don't have those anymore - so I purchased an external CD/DVD drive for the few occasions when I need one.

It's a great deal. Large screen, fast processor and large memory.

I am quite happy with my HP 17.3" HD Laptop. It was ready to go and operates quickly. The keyboard is smooth to the touch and the keys are large enough that I am not double key tapping. I work with photos and the large screen helps me to see the full picture. The graphics are exceptional. I highly recommend this system for people that dabble in photography. Toast to another satisfied HP computer owner.

This is fast honestly ..i love it the size of the screen is very convenient im happy with the size of the screen and how fast it works actually i got a second one for my son this computer will help him with tasks the ramp and memory are excelent for him

great laptop. I struggled for days trying to figure out the best one for me and this seems to be a great decision. The screen is huge (for us old blind people) and its fast. No buffering. That alone makes me so happy!

Fast computer. It works my photo program well. Does what I need. It is not light, it is heavier than other computers. It is larger and the silver outside is rough surface. It is a 5 star in my opinion.

I hold on to items for eh vah. So after 13 years I needed a new laptop. I have to have a number pad, prefer lighter laptops and a wider screen. This checks all of the boxes. This is a household laptop that I use for bill paying, online learning and some content creation. I'm happy.

Had it for 2 months and is working excellent so far. Use it mainly at my desk at home. Love the larger size. Haven't traveled with it yet, but have have a travel bag ready when I do.

HP laptops are the best tool in my opinion. The ease and speed makes my work so much more efficient. It easily syncs with everything I need to get my job done!

Finally the H.P. 17 inch laptop that I wanted was on sell. Large beautiful screen for photo editing and easy email reading.

Took a while to get used to versus 2013 Dell Desktop, but I'm well satisfied with this laptop. It is lighting fast and a great update all the way around. Large screen size is a great help.

Easy to use and navigate. Battery last long time even when you forget to power down.

I like the size of the screen, the speed of th computer. Nice feel on the keyboard.
