17 inch screen!

The price was excellent especially knowing I would have to pay an IT guy to come to my house to transfer numerous sensitive files. I have purchased my last 2 computers from Best Buy and have always been satisifed.

Great unit, but there's a catch

BB tech support pathetic, "make an appointment to meet with a geek" I'm a computer scientist, bought this computer, licensed copy of Windows, just wanted to boot, connect, get to desktop, impossible! So just make up an email and stuff if you don't want these bots sharing with big data harvest and connected to you. That's just me, you can go all in as they bait of course!

HP Intel core i3 laptop

The only thing I did not see was a compartment to insert cd. I am old school and rather play my cds on my laptop nor computer. My new All-in- one I got earlier this year didn't have it as well. Maybe I am overlooking it. Otherwise, I would recommend this laptop for easy navigation.

It does have the S Mode OS but you can disable it.

Good Deal/Great Screen

This is the most computer I have ever purchase for such a reasonable price. I'd highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I'm still having problems with the Geek Squad set up of the Microsoft 365 application I purchased with the computer.

Beware S mode

Unfortunately I was not aware of it coming with “s mode” which caused all kinds of problems downloading everything from the free webroot program that came with it to the program I bought it for. Had to pay my work IT guy $45 to get it turned off.
