The laptop we bought was described to us by the salesman as having 2 USB ports, but actually has only one as we found out when we unpacked the unit. The inaccuracy has caused us a big inconvenience with additional unbudgeted spending to remedy the shortcoming. Lesson learned: You can't trust anyone and you have to double check everybody.

I usually buy HP laptops and they last me for a very long time. I’ve been having quite a few issues with this one. This laptop crashes and restarts 2-3 times a day on me. And when that happens I have to issue a manual restart because the Realtek WiFi PCI Adapter becomes Disabled and will only Enable after the manual restart. Also one of the USB ports is not working properly and I have to jiggle any device that I plug into that port. The laptop also will not pick up any drivers for any Zip drive that I try to use on it. I finally got too frustrated with it and reset back to Factory settings and boxed it up to return it to the store and hopefully I can return and replace it with a different one.

This laptop is huge! I love the large screen & fast processing speed. I purchased it to use for remotely working from home & it does the job nicely. The only complaint I have is that there is only 2 USB ports, but I was able to purchase an extender. 9/10 would buy again!

It will automatically shut down on its own while I am looking at something online. It pops up an error saying 'Network Adapter' issue. I was out of town and have missed my 30-day timeline to return it. Very frustrating since I bought it brand new. I also did not realize there are no buttons to left and right click, you have to use the touch pad which does not always work correctly.

Love my Laptop! Touch screen is very easy to use. Love can also use like a tablet.

As an older person I find the rather faint keyboard markings, letters-numbers, difficult to read. While regular typing goes without looking, it is more difficult with numbers. The computer works fine in all other respects, and the large screen is very useful.

so far, new out of the box faultless, as was the Geek Squad transfer from my old computer (Lenova), which became outmoded with orphaning of MS8.1

I am so surprised to find the key board off this HP 17.3 laptop so poorly designed. It is so difficult to read the letters and all others. I have to use a dark marker to mark down the small signs like comas etc. This HP laptop has no specific name on it. It is AMDA 5 I bought it new from BestBUY. I am disappointednfor this choice.
