I bought this computer to surf the internet and stream MLB games. This computer has performed both of those functions well. Windows 11 so far seems to be an improvement over Windows 10 with a few minor exceptions. The fan is much quieter than previous HP computers I have owned in the past and is barely audible when running. The display is acceptable but not top of the line. Of course, with SSD the startup is fast. Overall it's a good computer for the purpose it was purchased.

I'm very pleased with this laptop. The larger screen makes it easier to read documents, emails, etc., and the larger keyboard is so much easier to use, plus it has a great "feel." I've been quite pleased with how intuitive it is to use. I would recommend it highly.

Great laptop for my father, big screen , thin , just perfect

Decent gaming laptop for beginners who are just getting into casual gaming but not into AAA title games. Bought as a gift and she loves it because it’s much faster than her old laptop and she plans to take to school as well. Battery life is decent and the display is good. I plan to upgrade the memory and storage at a later date.

This laptop is easy to use. It is fast and stays charged for a long time.

I'm pretty picky about my tech, and I usually pay good money to buy brand new. But this was to be a spare laptop for nothing more than office work and a portable access point to my cloud solutions. I wanted something functional and cheap with good components. This was open box for 20% off and the 2nd HP I have owned in 20 years with good components so I bought it. With a 17" screen and 500GB SSD, it is more than fast enough and large enough for my day-to-day needs for under $500. While this model is out of production, keep an eye out for the <$500 deals. Pay attention to your specs and you can get a reliable 2nd computer without breaking the bank.

The screen size is awesome. The computer I love in the way that it operates the speed of it and how I'm able to do the many things that I need to do with it. The only problem that I have which is the price of it. I purchased one prior which was about $100 lower. But overall I'm truly satisfied and glad to have the computer in my use.

Great laptop. Large screen , easy setup and a great price

Very fast reliable laptop. The camera is very good for Zoom meetings. We didn't expect the speed, but it's just the right amount of RAM. I might add a little more at a later date to 12gb or 16gb, but for now it's a champ. The screen real estate is great if you use multiple windows.

Great laptop for the price! Screen is huge - basically from edge to edge - its fantastic! No "extra" software (like office, etc.) Included. That's perfect for me. I'd rather buy what I want than have to pay for something that I don't want. Battery is amazing!!! It lasts for days, love it!

So far a great purchase. The scream size is just what I needed to replace my old HP. The speed and functionality is outstanding. I should have made the upgrade sometime ago. I recommend this HP for price and operation.

This is a nice PC for personal use. I do not use it for gaming, but as far as documents and internet use, it works great. Decent speed and the solid state drive is great because it does not heat up and does require a fan to keep cool.

This was a gift for my stepdaughter.. she needed something really good for college and it was the perfect gift… she was super excited and put it to good use… it really is a beautiful piece of technology….

This laptop performs a lot better than I thought it would. The boot up time is almost instant, so you won't waste any time waiting for it to start up. The 17.3-inch screen looks really nice and gives you a wider view. The battery lasts a pretty long time as well. It took a long time for the battery to drain to the single digits when using it for browsing.

I needed a reliable lap top, and HP was recommended. I am not disappointed as this laptop is just what the doctor ordered (in a manner of speaking). I use this for my power point presentations in my classes.

This laptop is very good for everyday tasks such as schooling, work from home, accounting, etc. I wouldn't buy it for gaming, but you can easily get a good low to mid settings experience with some games if you want to use it for multiple things, like a college student would. My only complaints are the display and trackpad. The display just isnt bright enough nor good enough. It lacks color, general detail and it just a mid range screen. (Mine even shipped with a dead pixel) Not bad, but not good. The trackpad though is a personal preference, it's not good with moisture so if you have sweaty hands, be warned. Speakers get plenty loud without distortion at reasonable listening levels. Screen size is a huge plus as well. If there's a good sale going on, I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

This laptop dies exactly what it needs to! I love the sleek design and the screen is a perfect size. I’ma college student and this purchase was a perfect one!
