Should NOT Have Purchased This HP Laptop

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The laptop listed having a backlit keyboard, my laptop does not have one! it has no memory card reader, no ethernet port, on boot up, the memory usage goes to 60-70%, this should never happen with 8 meg ram, when using my web email it runs very slow and fan runs high even having 100 meg speed! With these deficiencies it should cost $350, not the $580 I paid!!!

HP Laptop too slow

Two Best Buys near me didn't have that size Dell, so I settled for an HP with similar specifications, and it's slow compared to the Dell it replaced.

Black lighting for the keys along with a touch screen with better speakers would have put this laptop over the edge. The battery life is good, I have gone a whole day so far and just reaching the halfway point of battery life.
