Good value for the money, Bought this laptop a while ago and have been using it both at home and when travelling. Never had any issues with it, works without any hassle.

Works well and is fast. Happy with purchase. I only use it for simple things to pay bills online and competing assignments using Microsoft programs.

I bought 2 of these, and both are kicking up an error that the fan is failing to work and it may overheat the computer. We haven't noticed any actual issues, but it is very frustrating - since both computers do it, it is clearly an issue. Computer is fast. Keyboard is UNREADABLE. Why they used such a thin font and used a dark gray color on a light gray background - you have to be directly over the keyboard to read the keys. It seems like all the HP silver laptops are like this - clearly no one actually tested using these keyboards before making this design choice.

Good for the price. Great screen size and perfect for the amount of use. Only down fall is that it is not a touch screen. Battery seems to be doing well.

Good value especially at sale price, but will have to return due to difficult to read keyboard letters for elderly user with poor vision in 1 eye who types by hunt/peck. There’s not enough contrast between darker but very thinly printed letters on silver gray background color keys; not sure if backlighting would even help due to thinness of lettering also. Did not see other reviewers noting similar issues until after this hasty purchase without looking at product. Doh. Only work around appears to be attaching a usb keyboard (or place stickers on keys which seems messy). Other caveat is S mode, which had to be removed (Geek squad did this, but apparently anyone can but it’s a hassle) to allow non Microsoft programs , even just to add essentials like Firefox, Chrome, Acrobat etc. Otherwise good value, reasonable specs & function for average needs, tho so far only tried basic surfing. Was assured by BB that 8gb Ram is good enough to multitask browsing, video conferencing, streaming videos, office programs and pdf, etc at same time. Also display is not full HD, only HD+ at 900, but no complaints about that (yet) and has a HDMI port.

Solid performer, decent screen and visuals. For $350 you cannot go wrong with this HP. My only real complaint is not being able to read the keys even in the bright light or daytime. The grey printing in the grey keys does t make sense. I have to tilt the lt sometines which leads to lots of typos. I’m looking into new key stickers that are bright or :: cough :: glow in the dark … but this should’ve been thought of HP. Otherwise it’s a great big screen, decent performance at 8gb RAM and 512 gab ssd drive , can’t complain.

I have owned many computers in my life, but this one is the BEST! Large screen, easy to use and overall great computer!

I loved everything about this product until I wasn’t able to get into it because of a technical issue due to security and I didn’t remember the email, but there was no reason for them to ask for a code that I didn’t even know and when I took it to Best Buy, they wanted $200 to get it Taken care of whenever none of it was my fault on is asking for the codethey say they just do it occasionally gotta love microsoft

Great size if you like bigger screen. Easy to setup, fast, great to start up a business and the price was just perfect.

So far I had no problems with my new laptop. I’m addition to the performance of it runs fast as well as being very much efficient and convenient when it come to my online courses for college! Furthermore, the battery lasts a long time compared to my older laptop. Moreover, the price is great if you looking for something that’s not so expensive or that’ll bend your wallet. However, if your thinking about getting this , go for it and don’t procrastinate.

Great solid valued PC from HP, great features, love the 17.3 inch screen great for streaming, game playing, the graphics are first class, love it has a number also on the keyboard, sound quality is nice, camera works well, so does touch pad and keys are soft touch which makes typing easier. Great PC with a good sized processor, lots of memory and SSD on board storage, 3 usb 3 ports, plus HDMI, audio ports etc make this a nice laptop for any use.

I'm fairly happy with my computer. I use it for general surfing and business purposes. No issues surfing. My anti-virus slows down the computer considerably. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

First laptop ever! Easy to use. Learning curve not overwhelming. Feel of it is good. Really haven't lost a beat in my computer usage. LOVE the ease of being able to move my computer around with me. Why didn't I make the change from desktop to laptop long ago? It's a larger laptop than some which I like since it doesn't feel that different from my desktop computer.

So fadt this computer never crashes, has a lit if bells and whistles, sounds like a surtound sound with my speakers
