This is an excellent basic computing laptop. I absolutely love the crystal clear 17in display. The tidbit is getting the laptop out of S mode, which is pretty much essential to being able to fully utilize this system's full potential. But that's easily done through the MS Store App (Hint, hint, to the negative reviewers) Or in my case, wipe the unit and install Windows 10 Pro, which turned out easier said than done at first since Setup requires the NVMe driver in order to see and format/configure the drive. But after that, it was smooth sailing. All drivers installed automatically once connected to Windows Update and it runs like a dream! I plan to upgrade the RAM to 16GB and possibly a bigger SSD in the future. But for now, she's good to go!!

Great laptop for the price point. Needed it for my father who prefers a big screen for basic tasks (emails, zoom calls, office dox). Getting out of S mode is the only initial pain point one has to go through but otherwise this is definitely a value deal.

I work from home and my old one was starting to give me problems and I couldn’t afford an expensive one so I got this one. It was on sale for $400 and I couldn’t pass it up. Along with the good reviews I thought I got a good deal. Only thing I miss is the light up keyboard but I’m okay with it for the price.

It was great dealing with the Geek Squad. My computer fell on the concrete and busted the corner of the computer and the screen and luckily had the protection plan. They sent it off and within a few days, I was getting a refund on my computer because they could not fix it. It was easy and I will not buy another computer without the extended warranty.

This is an excellent laptop! I love buying appliances and electronics from Best Buy because your getting great deals but also quality products. It has a huge screen but isnt too heavy. There is not much to not like but I did wish the keyboard lit up because its hard to see the letters without a backlight, especially at night or in a bright room.

Quick delivery. Laptop is perfect for standard use. Big, clear screen. Windows 11 installed upon first boot and I was given a prompt to remove S Mode through an option in the App Store and this worked quickly and efficiently and allowed me to install any exe files immediately. Great deal on sale, performance has been very good so far.

We were just looking for a nice laptop to use at home and this fit the bill - we didn't need a lot of extras. This one we found to be fast and have just what we wanted. I would recommend this for anyone - easy to set up and use.

Product is okay. The product works well, but little slow. The price was good.

So far this is a best value. I5 for your core and everything up to snuff for windows 11. It is thin and light weight yet still feels sturdy. My wife just keeps going on about how fast it opens everything and is super impressed. This isn't a bottom of the line machine but you wouldn't know by the price we got it for.

purchased computer online .very smooth process everything went as expected.when arrived just plugged it in hit a few buttons and most info was uploaded from old computer. works fine much faster then old one .works awesome every day

I am extremely pleased with this one. I have many others, but this is my favorite. The larger screen size, is a huge plus, but everything else is superb about it also. Windows 11 is a bit different, even though I have been working with it, on two other computers, for a long time. The cooling fan is very quiet!

Enjoying our new laptop. Very fast, great size, plenty of RAM! I use it every day and no problems. I wish I didn't have to sign on to my own personal laptop every day. Is there a way I can bypass my sign on to my laptop? This step is annoying!

Geek Squad has taken great care of our computers as well as our phone needs. The Techs and there costumer service is great. They are not only helpful but friendly as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for great protection as well as there products. Mike

Please know that I am a former Geek Squad Agent. Best buy would do well to prepare these systems before selling them to the general public. As a tech it took me considerable time to get this system up and running. My fear is that this may be a real disappointment to anyone receiving it as a gift during the holidays this year. The system boots to menu driven setup that has to download and install the operating system (Windows 11) for which you need connectivity to the internet and also an account with Microsoft. Then once at a desktop (a significant while later) you can’t download anything other than what is available through the Microsoft Store unless you can figure out how to get it out of S-Mode. The instructions online to remove S-Mode are kind of convoluted because the system settings the instructions refer to are not available until the system is totally updated and S-Mode is removed. This is not the way to establish client/customer satisfaction and needs to be addressed by your technical staff. At this point I would surmise that this could possibly be an attempt by BestBuy to boost their total care services. What a nightmare, BestBuy you have missed the mark on this one and it will surely affect your business.

Bought for my daughter 2 years ago and worked quite well for her, and worked great for her graphic art. Unfortunately she dropped it and time to get a new one so you're very pleased with this laptop and will purchase again.

So far so good. Bought this laptop for my mother just for basic internet usage nothing special. And it does exactly what it needs to do. If you are looking to play games or use multiple applications at once I'd suggest something different. But if you are looking for a basic web search or business laptop I'd highly recommend! Plus it was under 400 bucks!
