This computer was for my wife. Being on sale I got an excellent computer at an excellent price. It has everything she needs for email and Facebook. The big screen is especially nice for group zooming. It made an excellent birthday gift.

Machine operates good, but the case is cheaply made. The back separates when opening the laptop after a year andca half.

So far I love everything about this laptop, except for one thing...the weight of it. The graphics are great the screen size is wonderful the apps that come already installed are just what I needed for school. but the weight of it is ...heavy!

Super fast performance for the price I paid. You don't need more expensive laptop for basic online use. It is light weight for carrying to coffee shop to work on projects.

design, weight easy setup and speed was a good value. more than enough BUT cheaply constructed. recently the base laptop is separated in one corner in need so significant repair. Just happened less than one year after purchase

Nice size widescreen. Bought on sale as a replacement after previous computer starting stalling and computer commands took too long to perform. This new model is definitely much faster.

I got this laptop during cyber Monday, so I got a pretty good deal. The laptop is pretty good overall and works well. Just the only downside is windows 11 downloaded on it , the windows 11 works well just sometimes it might crash your games or some thing your watching, it also lags a bit and like messes with the audio when it crashes or lags. All of this does not happen very often with the laptop, but as the current windows 11 on the laptop I got it with isn’t the best. There might be a update in the future to fix this. I’m just saying this just as a disclaimer, I don’t mind it much, but It’s not like it happens a lot. If you get laptop and don’t like windows 11 there is an option to revert to windows 10, but I m not sure how to fully change it back. In overall this laptop works well and will get the job done, just as I’m currently writing the windows downloaded has a bit of bugs. This might not apply with everyone who has windows 11 but these were my experiences. Hope this helped

A nice little laptop -- well, not too little, seeing it is a 17" screen, but that is what I wanted -- the more real estate the better in my book... And the processor is pretty fast for a i3... I usually get i7s, but I can't complain... I wouldn't do any gaming, but it isn't for gaming (no dedicated video). I have no complaint as it does all I need it to do. If you are looking for a good solid laptop, maybe for development, general computing, you really con't go wrong with this little guy.

Love the HP Laptop PC 17-by4000. It's fast, has great battery life and more than adequate storage. We love the larger screen, instead of the 15 inch models. Would highly recommend this laptop!

I was very impressed with this laptop. It covered all the points I was looking for and is a great machine for a great price. Best Buy was the best place to find this at this price.

It is a good laptop if you don’t require too much like gaming and others. My aunts has been using it at her teaching job for years now.

Perfect Laptop for college. Good sized high quality and clear screen is very fast, and works well with programming and Photoshop applications. Long battery life. Awesome for watching movies on.

Bought this when it was on sale. It does everything I needed it to and the price was unbeatable.

purchaded the laptop after my 11 year old toshibe died. I always enjoyed the larger 17 inch screen, so that was the feature that drew me to this model. There is a small learning curve getting used to the new Windows OS. The only thing I had an issue with was reading the key board. Seems like a light has to shine down directly onto it. You dont notice this in the store but when I got it home i had to purchase a small desk lamp to put over it.

Lightyears ahead of my old hp laptop. Excellent specs on this particular model. Thanks to Best Buy, I saved $180 over their normal price, and the price asked by other sellers!

Great laptop, Good price. I love the large screen and it works very well for my writing and email use. The price made it very attractive for what you get with the i3 intel core.

So far so good, LOVE the screen size. Still trying to figure out the s mode. I'm a pretty minimal user so I have no complaints. It doesn't seem to stay charged for very long.

Purchased this laptop over the Thanksgiving holiday. Needed one to replace the one I bought 9 years ago. I prefer bigger screen sizes. The small hard drive is something I will have to get used to. The availability of the cloud no longer require large hard drives. Computer speed is much faster with the SSD hard drives. My father has a HP laptop for over 5 years now. He has had no issued with it.

Bought this tp replace my 13 year old laptop and is pleased with the performance. Getting used to W11, but becoming intuitive, very happy so far

My hubby needed a new computerand just wanted something Basic. We had a HP before and it was great. This one is built cheap. Rather tinny and plastic. Key board is hard to see and not back lit. Alos as window and is slow... compared to my MacBook Pro. You get what you pay for. Hubby has a Macbook but has a hard time using it. I on the other hand LOVE my MAC and will not switch back is a MS windows style laptop. MS windows tried to copy MAC but had a epic fail in my book.
