great laptop but downloads with purchases are a pain

This is a very good laptop and at a very good price!

I have used this computer 2 times and 2 of the keys come up from the keyboard when I touch them. Now have to send it back for repair.

Excellent for school use. Needed a replacement for my old laptop and it fits right in my budget

You know we had to LOOK UP where the POWER button was? If you're wondering, some ignorant designer put it in BETWEEN the backspace and delete buttons so you can turn it off while you're working. Secondly, there is NO CD ROM, so if you were thinking like me, "oh, it doesn't come with Office, but hey, I got one on CD anyway." You won't be able to get it on there unless you're hacker level I guess. What genius decided that newer laptops don't need CD roms? Yes! we still want them! My bad for not checking for a feature I figured was standard. Third, straight out of the box, the mousepad isn't on there straight and is loose. We bought "new;" I have reasons why I don't buy "open box" and this was one of them. We were so excited and now so disappointed. But it DID come the day it was supposed to and it turns on...oops it was accidentally powered off again. There's your star.

Can't turn off. No removable battery. Tech support won't answer. Cheap build, very low quality keyboard cheap and flexing too much. brand New not worth 750

I haven't used it yet, still trying to get it set up. I have an HP desktop that has been reliable, so I bought this, needing a laptop for easy. I did not realize you, or I anyway can not read the keyboard. Silver with light, thin lettering. SERIOUSLY!

This item's keyboard malfunctioned while trying to setup Windows for the first time. I returned it and got a Dell.

It’s an okay product. The only problem I am having is that the life of the battery doesn’t last over 2 hours.

The low review is because the order was received 5 days after the promised date.

Had to be serviced 2 weeks before warranty ran out. Two weeks to repair.

HP seemed ok but that windows s was aggravating. Took the HP back.

$599 was a literal steal. Then up to $619. a Steal. NOW AT $729 fair...Be careful buying HP laptops on bestbuy right now. They were selling 10th gen models at the same time for more money. Not sure what is going on; all over map. At the current price of $729 just keep an eye on it. The $599 price drop was just random. If you paid more WATCH EVERY DAY FOR PRICE DROPS. IMMEDIATE REFUND FOR 30 DAYS. If you see $629..dont hesitates THIS PC AT $599. This is an entry level gaming PC that youll be surprised what you can play on this Wow. The 8g 256 SSD model(now $619 was a a really good buy as $599..it dropped to $519 and I got the difference but this one dropped to $599 and I was a bit sad. hahha. 11th gen Intel processor with new iris graphics, Good luck trying to find anything close to that price. The new AMD Ryzen 5 is faster and better graphics though. And is always a tad cheaper) . 17" 1080p IPS panel for that price. plus the other specs. NO WAY. I' would have jump on this if it fell to $629. No backlit keyboard. EASY TO UPGRADE RAM AND 2nd HD .Four screws and the bottom panel comes right off My preference for brand laptops goes Asus(I'm leaving a few out)----Then-HP-Dell-Acer BIOS is very limited in doing much on an HP or Dell. I dont overclock my RAM or Processor. I don't do much of anything in BIOS so I dont mind HP. Toshiba would have been above HP but they got out of the game, unfortunately. As far as drivers go Dell always seems to have some issues I'll assume this came with a WD SSD NVMe PCI express m.2 drive. It seems the other brands this could also come with are just as good, though READ BELOW You can download the WD Dashboard software to manage the drive. And a version of Acronis for WD. Learn to use it. Awesome system image software. You can do full system OS backups and if it crashes or stops working properly you're right back up in 15 minutes from your last backup. Also other backup methods that can keep you backed up much more frequently but I do full image backups(offline. though you can do the online while using the PC) about once a week and simply back up my essential files more frequently. Gt them from WD website There seems to be a price war going on for high end general purpose PCs
