The computer works very well, and I am quite happy with it. The keyboard is solid and I am delighted with it. The one rather odd element is the placement of the on and off button. Instead of the usual location, it is among the keys on the top row of keys, towards the right, but not at the end. I do not understand this placement, and I find it rather odd, but I can certainly cope with it. The Geek Squad in Trussville, AL store was very helpful and I want to thank the young gentleman who helped me set up.

Love the large screen. It is perfect for working from home as a paralegal. No complaints.

New laptop is easy to use, as well as decent speed performance and good screen quality.

I love the larger laptops for ease of viewing. I still am using my older HP 17.3 laptop but couldn't pass up the fantastic deal on this one. I don't use it every day as of yet since my old one works fine but I do use it for my volunteer work and it works great! I highly recommend it! I do wish it had more USB ports and a DVD/CD drive like my older one but I can work around that.

Good overall but it's lacking features that I expected such as lighted keys and touch screen. My old laptop had these features and I assumed this one did too. My bad... The keyboard also takes some time getting used too, it differs quite a bit from my last laptop. I'm not sure about battery life since it's been plugged in since I got it.

Decent specs for the price when on sale. Online it looks metal but it’s plastic that looks like metal. The plastic keeps it light. For what I use it for there’s no complaints. Except I had to buy a different adapter to do multiple monitors.

Quick and works fine for my programming, web browsing, and office applications. I'm not a gamer so I cannot rate it on that aspect. As mentioned in at least one other post, the keys look more like the belong on a backlit keyboard. They are not the easiest to read unless at just the right angle with good lighting. Not a big deal for me, I learned to touch type decades ago.

I looked at laptop for a long time trying to decide what kind to buy. After talking to Best Buy personnel twice I decided to buy the HP Laptop. It was more than the price range I was looking into but felt I received good advice from the personnel.

Good "bang for the buck" laptop. Bought as a gift to replace friends old and slow laptop. Had Geek Squad do the data transfer, and now she has a serious upgrade. This is a system that is great for general use, business applications, accounting, documents, etc. Not a gaming laptop, but if you need a good solid machine for school, this will serve you well.

A good laptop that lives up to it's billing. The Intel Core i5 is enough for me and most users. I am pleased with the support of Hewlett Packard. Not impressed with Best Buy's 15 day returnable guarantee on its worthless wireless mouse. Buy one someplace else.

Love the big screen. I live out in the boonies so I needed a fast laptop. This one is AMAZING. I click and I immediately get ti where I want to go. I also love the fingerprint log-in. Very easy to maneuver. A DEFINITE must buy.

The big screen is fine for editing my photos and composing text. Might be too big for those who like to pack light for travel, but as a portable unit used mainly at home or in the office, it's a good fit.

I needed a new laptop for work and this one is perfect! The large screen along is great for having multiple windows opened at once. The fan can get a little loud at times, but not too noticable.

I needed a new laptop for WFH. This one offered a big screen along with the 10 keypad, which a lot of laptops do not offer. It was really easy to setup, it walked you through the entire process.

So far so good . easy set up , great picture , had to order, none in stock ,Geek Squad did good job transferring data from old computer , Ordered part arrived within a few days . Happy so far.

I'm very pleased with my purchase, very nice display. Has the latest update on the Intel Core i5. I wasn't keen on the silver color but I'm dealing with it. I only wish it came with a backlit keyboard.

This laptop is excellent for multi-tasking & having multiple tabs open when I'm doing research. Very fast. The numeric keypad is a must for bookkeepers. So far, I love it!

Great computer. Nice big screen. The only issue is that the lettering on the keys is very thin, making it a little difficult to read. Other than that great purchase.
