Great basic laptop

Bought 2, both slow slow and slower

Hp diagnostics errors and never corrects problem. I use my iPad then so I know it's not the Internet connection. Same slow slow and slower at both houses. I will go back to Dell or Acer/Toshiba (found toshiba HD on Acer when I recycled it).

Returning It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is slower than my 10+-year old Gateway. It takes as along as 5 minutes to launch a program. After 30 minutes, I still hadn't been able to access the internet. And that is right out of the box - no additional programs added. I'm a writer. I use Word, Xcel, email, and the internet for research. I have deadlines to meet, and don't have hours to waste waiting for programs to launch. Thinking of buying this laptop? Skip it. This thing is a piece of.... HP used to be tops in the computer and computer peripherals - no longer the case. I'm actually having to do this from my wife's iMac, if that tells you anything...
