We bought 2 of these, One for me and one for my wife to replace older HP 17" laptops. Overall we both like the performance and display. The hinges on my old Laptop had to be repaired twice, these seem to be more durable. My drawbacks is going from 1TB to 256 GB, My most used program uses up over 60 GB of that storage alone. I have had to move all my Photos and Music files to a portable drive to maintain space on the drive, Unfortunately it seems like large storage seems to be a thing of the past in most laptops now, I also lost a CD Drive, and memory card slots. I can get around this using adapters and USB slots but here to the number of USB slots was reduced. Since I use a USB mouse one of those is dedicated for that and have to sometime juggle with the remaining ports to work with the portable drives or memory cards. For the price we paid we are very satisfied, about the same as what we paid for the older units, I would prefer more guts but for the price I am happy with it and and can work around the drawbacks.

Needed a new laptop. This one couldn’t be beat for the price. It looks to be expandable (memory, hard drive), so it isn’t as limited as it may seem. Works well, does what I needed, and with the ability to upgrade components, I’ll have this laptop for quite some time.

Light, fast, very good screen, keyboard and battery life. It can be expanded, I replaced one of the 4GB memory SODIMM's for a 16GB and have now 20G RAM. I also replaced the 256GB Nvme Pcie M.2 Ssd for a 1TB one. To replace the SSD you need to create a Windows 11 installation media on a USB drive and add the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Drivers to the USB drive and install them manually when installing the Windows 11 on the new SSD. I have other HP laptops and they last for many years, upgrading will increase their useful life.

Perfect laptop for the day to day work. Good memory and processor. I bought it for my daughter who is in high school and she is very happy with the purchase. It works great and she has no issues.

Such a great purchase! I’ve always had HP laptops and I really enjoyed this one because of the size, the layout of the keyboard and the way it’s lightweight.

Got this computer for my significant other and he is obsessed. The size of this computer is just massive compare to normal computers! The computer is fast and the quality is amazing

I like the full size screen. Makes it great to watch movies on line. Also, HP offers great features and benefits, considering the competitive pricing. The build quality is excellent too! Keyboard layout is ergonomically comfortable as well.

This laptop is a good value for two to three hundred dollars off list price. For that price I'd probably rate five stars. It seems well-made and the display quality is satisfactory. Battery life is long (at least to start with). But for full price, the performance would be lacking. It doesn't seem to take much for the processor and memory to get bogged down and kick the fan into high gear. Granted, 8GB is the bottom wrung now for any type of moderate use. One concern is that the fan exhaust/vent is along the back strip of the case at the base of the screen. This seems an odd design, maybe intended to prevent the vent from being covered, but it doesn't produce a lot of airflow and I wonder what this bodes for long-term durability. One the plus side, at least it HAS a fan, which can't be said for all laptops these days! I recommend it for a steeply discounted price.

Product ia great for what it is. It is a very nice and functional laptop with a big screen. It processes very quickly and the sound and visuals are great. This is a laptop to be used as a basic laptop although I am sure it can be quite functional for most processes outside of gaming. It doesn't convert to a tablet, I have HP 360s that do that and this is the exact same computer minus that function. Priced quite nicely on sale at 419 when i bought. Hard to beat

So far, so good. Same size screen but overall computer size slightly smaller. This is a good thing since I travel with the computer. Lighter than my last computer as well.

Love my laptop! The speed of the laptop is great for running a small business and handling several apps at a time. The charge holds for several days.

Laptop works great and is a good size. Easy to use and does the job for a personal computer. Backlit keys would be that only item missing but still good

I am very happy with this new laptop. The screen is large enough to easily see what you're working on. The i5 core is what I was looking for.

My laptop arrived on time and was securely packaged, The processor is fast, the RAM is more than adequate and the screen is bright and readable. The only thing it's missing is an SD card reader, but that is easily remedied with an add on USB reader. I like that it has 2 USB A ports and 1 USB C ports. The laptop is fast enough to ditch the Win 11 S mode and choose regular Windows 11 which can be done with one click. The keys on the keyboard could be a little darker, but I got used to it quickly. I would defintely buy it again and recommend it to friends.

Working very well; easy set up and nice size screen

Been using this laptop for a while now. And i love it. It might not be great for high demand games. But for everything else, like editing, its great. Easy to upgrade ram and storage. It's amazing. Plus windows 11.

I absolutely love this laptop thus far. For the price it is amazing. Speeds are very fast, it's not heavy at all and the buttons have a sleek feel to them. For everyday computer usage this laptop is a no brainer. Also the screen resolution is pretty sharp. Definitely happy about this purchase.

I needed an inexpensive laptop for school, and this fit the bill perfectly. There's not a ton of bloat out of the box, and I've had zero issues after turning off S mode. I wouldn't use it for gaming or video editing or anything like that, but if all you're doing is internet and office type work it's a pretty good workhorse. I only wish it had more usb ports.
