I only need a good-enough laptop for school. This one has corei7 and 8gb ram. It should be the best for my purpose.

I needed a Windows computer since I have several things my Apple machines won't process. It is quick and smooth. I'm not impressed with Winders 10, but I am still very satisfied with this purchase.

I purchased the HP Laptop Model#17-x115dx i7 as a second computer to my older desktop. I caught a great Best Buy sale so I couldn't resist. Set-up was easy. This is the first time using Windows 10 but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. The 17.3 inch display is beautiful, sound is not bad, wireless works great. Though the battery life was advertised as 7.5 hours, the maximum is actually 3.5 hours. Not a big thing for me as I do not travel with it and usually keep it plugged in where I'm sitting. Still, it should not have been advertised as such. It has an easy touch keyboard. I don't use the touchpad....I purchased a mini mouse to use. The laptop has all the bells and whistles to make your laptop experience a success (other than extreme gaming). To go along with the laptop, I bought the cushioned LapDesk by Lapgear at Best Buy that works wonderful with a 17 inch laptop. I have had the HP laptop for a month now and am very satisfied with my purchase. I have always bought HP computers and printers because, over the years, have found their products to withstand time and they provide good customer service.

I use this manly for access to my server at work. More than enough power to do that. I like it's size and screen is very nice.

I wish someone would have told me Geeksquad would set up my laptop before taking it home. It would have been a good thing. I was not told the truth about the computer having bluetooth. I was told it had it, but I found out after I got home it didn't.

This laptop was purchased specifically for a job on a building site. I needed a no frills laptop, (that could potentially get destroyed), with none of the extra bells and whistles. This was a good choice. I never had a bit of trouble out of it.

Great computer. Solid upgrade from my old one. Can't complain about this thing, it has been great... Got the opened box version of the computer which was considerably cheaper. I encourage everyone to buy the opened box version of the computer they want if it is available. Looked and acted perfect!

I'm a graphics designer/Website developer. This Laptop has surpassed my expectations. Working with extensive graphics programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel Draw not to mention my video editing programs. This system if fast and very efficient. I would recommend this Laptop to anyone.

I really like the speed of this computer, even when I leave it on for days it doesn't slow and the battery life is really good. I don't like the camera. When I use Skype (especially in low light) I feel my phone camera is better.

Purchased for online college courses. I would recommend this for any student. Downfall - size and finding a backpack large enough. But for streaming online courses from your own home, it's nice to have larger screen.

It is faster than my last computer and it does everything I want a laptop to do. It operates alot cooler than my previous HP.. It is not as heavy to carry around.

Purchased for my son for online gaming, homework, etc. The screen is really nice and everything works great. He was really happy to receive it as an Xmas gift. I expect he'll be able to use it for a long time.

Just needed something that was newer for kids to do homework on and to browse the internet and it didn't break the bank. Nothing fancy but powerful enough to be able to use it with no problems for a few years.

Great Laptop for the Price and nice power however putting a SSD drive in it will make this system a 5 star instead of 4.

Beautiful color and wonderful computer. I would buy another one if needed.
