Great performing chromebook, it looks nice, is fast, and the keyboard is decent for a laptop. It is a bit heavy, and runs pretty hot. The fan can kick up and get loud, and the bottom gets somewhot uncomfortably warm. I took one star away because it's flimsy, as the bottom is all plastic. With the screen open, if it's not on a flat surface, the trackpad click can engage from the bottom half flexing, so you can't click it in, and sometimes that overrides the tap. Besides that annoyance, it's not bad.

I purchased this HP 2-in-1 touch screen computer for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas, 2019. This computer is fast, easy to use and the touch screen works great ! She has been able to enjoy watching t.v. shows and YouTube. It also allows her to create PowerPoints and do her school work with ease. This computer was very affordable but packs a big punch. I would highly recommend this computer for anyone looking for a high quality computer at a reasonable price point.

TLDR; this device has replaced my PC. Most people who talk about Chromebooks love to bash chrome os but they are VERY wrong and this Chromebook proves them wrong. With chrome os, you can enable Linux and different chrome os experiments so that you can game and use your normal work apps. 64GB of emmc may not seem like a lot but in my opinion, you will most likely not run out of storage for a while. The Core i3 processor on this machine is A BEAST it may not tell you this but it is a 10th gen intel processor and from my research, this processor is more powerful than the 7th gen i5. I have been using this laptop as a gaming laptop after I found out how to use Linux and I found that in games such as Minecraft this little Chromebook would get better frame rates than my Windows 10 PC. The magnesium chassis gives the device a very nice and powerful feel. Also, the glass trackpad on this device allows for amazing accuracy. The speakers on this device are also insanely good in my opinion the only issue with them is that when you go into tablet mode they arent facing you. The keyboard feels amazing and the backlight for it is awesome. the touch screen is awesome for the longest time I used this as my drawing tablet.

Just what I needed for work. Lightweight and big touch screen. Easy to use and overall just a great purchase for the price.

I was worried about spending the money on something so simple as a Chrome book but realized very shortly after I purchased it that it was the best purchase I have ever made as far as a computer/laptops /tablet. It literally starts up in 3 seconds flat, no viruses and the screen is beautiful. The ease of finding a program I need are all at the slide of a finger and of course it interfaces with everything I have Google. And that's the best part.

HP Chromebook is easy to use for all ages. The price of the laptop isn't too bad considering the features it comes with- intel i3 core processor, touchscreen laptop, on/off camera feature on the side of laptop, swivel screen, antivirus/updates automatically, long battery life during usage. Very happy with the laptop- I would recommend this for someone who wants simplicity, affordability, and reliability with a laptop.

I purchased this laptop for my 15 year old daughter and when she received it it was better than I expected it to be. I purchased it for distance learning mainly. The screen is bright and clear picture like high def. She loves that it is touch screen and that she is able to fold the key pad over and use her it as a iPad. It is light weight and thin not bulky looking at all. It is the perfect size as well. She loves it!

One of the first things I have liked with this Chromebook is the battery, then the fact that it has a touch-screen. The screen is about just what my child needs for schoolwork. It is powerful for a Chromebook and has a good memory too. It is not heavy at all and very portable. I bought it on sale in November so it was also a very good deal. Will buy it again if needed. No issue no far.

I purchased this Chromebook after selling my MacBook Pro, it was way overkill for what I was using it for. I wanted to stay away from Windows so I decided to give a Chromebook a try. Coming from a MacBook I was very weary about choosing one that had a Celeron or AMD processor, so when I seen this HP had a i3 I was very interested. So far so good, the computer has not slowed down even after loading it down with tabs and apps in part to the 8GB of RAM. I'm fully involved in the android ecosystem so the ability to download Android apps is amazing. So far, all of the apps work great and look like they are made for this operating system. I recommend this Chromebook, especially if you are not a heavy power user. Everyday tasks work flawlessly on it.

I needed a good inexpensive laptop to replace an old Sony Vaio that I purchased in 2011. It could not support my online courses (surprise)! The sales rep. recommended this chrome book and I have been pleased with its fast speed and ease of operation. An added plus is that it’s a 2in1 touchscreen. I love the size and lightweight. Battery life is good too. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought it for work. It is light, fast doesn’t need an antivirus software. I love that the keyboard has light it s a great help when I use it for presentations and you have to turn off the room lights. It is very thin and it’s not heavy I take take where ever I go. The battery last longer than my old PC. I will definitely recommend it!!!

I was looking for a good, reliable, and easy to use laptop. I did some extensive research on Chromebooks, because I usually use windows on most computers. After many review websites and YouTube videos. I caved and decided on this model of Chromebook. I liked this Chromebook, because of the ram and Intel processor. This Chromebook is extremely fast when it comes to having multiple tabs open at once. It doesn't have any hesitation. It also supports Linux apps. This allows you to install loads of editing software or gaming programs like steam. Its not optimal for heavy games like Fortnite or other high graphics games, but if your looking for something that can handle lighter games like Dota 2 or Rimcraft its pretty decent. The look and feel of this laptop is very nice. It feels very well built and the keyboard feels great. Overall, this is a really good for any person who wants a moderately priced, fast, and quality feeling laptop. This Chromebook is perfect for you.

Let me first say that I am not a technologically inclined individual. The things that are important to me are probably trivial to others. I love the large clear screen and clear speakers. The back lit keyboard is amazing. The computer has a bit of weight to it which I dont mind. Its super fast and easily handles my needs. I feel the computer was a nice balance of technology at a competitive price.

This thing is awesome! Very thin and lightweight, easy to navigate, and lightening fast. I'd only owned Windows machines my whole life and was somewhat skeptical of the Chrome OS - but decided to give this a try with the knowledge that it would largely be used by my kids for school work. However, I've found myself grabbing it and using it a lot. I'd definitely recommend.

this is the first time i ever buy a chromebook and I got one because my High School Kid needed one as the iPad that was Supplied by the school had alot of connection errors with its security VPN thing. So i wanted something that was fast and very easy to use and this worked. It literally boots up in seconds vs my laptop or pc which are HDD. The screen is a very good size and the chrome book is very thin and decently light weight. If I had to make 1 complaint for its price range is that the brightness of the screen is not that bright at all and in the day thats someone of a BIG issue however to solve this problem for my daughter's room i used Static Cling Tint for her windows to still get lighting into her room but also allow for privacy as well as helping the chrome book look as bright as possible. As for the screen resolution it is indeed 1080P and when in zoom meetings the video quality looks great on our end with was seems to be a 60Fps motion look which isn't bad. I am not sure about the max data speeds this chromebook can handle but I do have the 940Mbps service from spectrum and the max I got on the chrome book via wifi was 481Mbps download and 43Mbps upload. Unfortunately there is no Ethernet Port to test out my new data speeds but I will say this, we have Zero freezing issues with this chromebook and I would definitely consider buying this model again for my younger son that is in 3rs grade. I hope that my review is helpful to you in deciding on weather it would be useful for your needs.

I bought this laptop for college. I had a Chromebook in high school and I found it really easy to use. I like that this one has a touch screen and the screen can move anywhere. I wish the screen came with a stylus to write on it but it is still great. The laptop is light and thin which easily fits into my backpack.

This is a fantastic mid level Chrome book. My wife needed a machine to handle her grand jury work, internet/social media and to store her photos. It is fast, easy to use and light weight. It's the perfect laptop if you don't have a need for heavy duty computing. That said, it hasn't "said no" yet so we haven't experienced any shortfalls in performance yet. I recommend this HP if you are in the market for a new Chrome book.

When looking for a computer for school I decided to go with a cheap notebook to type papers and browse the internet on since I have a gaming pc for any more intensive work I would need to do, knowing if you cheap out on a computer your going to get garbage I wanted something with an i-series processor and over 6gb of ram, not sure if the chrome os was going to meet my needs I figured id give it a try and return the computer if I ran into any shortcomings... needless to say this thing has a great build quality, great economic specs and a lightweight OS making it the perfect notebook for school on a budget. Aswell as having tons of very nice features and an amazing batterylife!

I absolutely love this laptop. The specs are very good, and the performance is wonderful. I like the size, it is less bulky thank many larger ones, and easier for me to manage. The 360 hinge is useful, making this versatile. I use it frequently for a variety of tasks, and everything works great, not one complaint. It was also very easy to set up. I like the Chrome operating system.
