This monitor is great, I have enjoyed it I am 71 and it still lets me see clearly and focus free. I would recommend this monitor.

Exactly what I needed for my transition working from home.

I needed a lightweight monitor for a wall mounted swing arm mount for a secondary PC (Mac Mini). It's only 1920 x 1080 but good enough for streaming. It does what I need it to do and the price was right. My only complaint is it only has VGA and DVI-D outputs. It should have had a HDMI out to make connecting to my Mac Mini easy but I ended up having to purchase a DVI-D to HDMI cable to connect, adding to the cost.

Purchased this to go with my MacMini as I wanted an easy-to-read monitor that is also easy to move (I'm in transition between homes). As suggested by another customer in his review, I purchased the VGA to HDMI adapter. Got it set up and nothing happened - "no signal". I texted a Mac expert friend, and he said that I needed a different converter, probably one that would go in the Lightning port. He also asked if there was another output on the monitor. I sent him a picture, and he said "Yes! You've got a DVI output on the monitor" (not even mentioned in the specifications on the website). So, I returned the ineffective VGR to HDMI adapter, and for $5 more purchased a 6' DVI to HDMI cable. Worked as soon as I plugged it in. Victory! Monitor is terrific and just what I needed - with the right accessory.

I got this monitor for my brother, but I ended up giving it to my sister, as my brother did want it. My brother already had a second monitor but was wanting to upgrade. (His old monitor used to have 1024x768, and was square. It was clearly from the early 2000s. However, surprisingly enough, that old monitor had far more color range than this monitor! Ultimately, we decided that he would prefer to keep the color range, and use the older monitor. The image on this monitor is very washed out. The only way you don't get that sensation is if you put the brightness down drastically, there isn't much of a between. You're either squinting to see images and read words on a dark screen, or your eyes are hurting from how greyed out and washed out the screen is. This is the type of monitor doctors warn about when they say not to look at it for more than 30 minutes. The refresh rate is good. The response time is excellent, and up to par with modern monitors. The resolution is also good, and is actually the highest resoluution monitor in the house. ALl of these are good, but I would say to try to get something for at least 150$, and check the demos. I promise it will be worth it to choose from the demos, it will save you a life of eyestrain.

So far I love it. Screen is just right for my limited space. A 1080p monitor with IPS is a steal at $90, it will be great if it has HDMI input.
