I finally replaced my old monitor (10 years or more?) when I bought a new desktop. I have limited space for a monitor in my rather cramped desk space at home. This is the perfect size. Wide enough that I can have two items open side by side (like two Word docs, a Word & Excel, or a website and something else) and still work on them without having to use the horizontal scroll bar. Resolution is excellent so I do not need to enlarge the font to read it with my aging eyes!

I purchase this monitor to replace an old monitor, and the set up was super easy. I just plugged in the wires and voila! It was super easy. The picture display is great. I mainly use this new monitor as the second monitor to display pdf documents and excel spreadsheets while I am working, and it does the job. I didn't give it the 5 stars as it doesn't have the new HDMI technology, but I don't need it (Yet!)

My old monitor started to buzz and flicker intermittently. Kept waking me up so it was time to get this HP 21kd. Ordered it on line 5/06/20, received it THE NEXT DAY. Up and running 20 minutes after it was delivered. This item is an excellent value and combined with the outstanding service from BEST BUY I would have given it 10 stars. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone who is looking for value and performance.

My church has an A/V setup with a Roland VR-50HD mixer at its center. The Roland has a touch screen monitor that shows the various video inputs in a 2x2 format. But it is small and not in my line of sight. I was starting to botch recordings because one of the video inputs was not set up properly before switching to it. The Roland has an HDMI output that reproduces what is displayed on the touch screen. So one can connect a monitor and get a much bigger version of the touch screen. But there is no room for another 24 inch monitor where all the equipment is. I investigated 20 inch monitors over time. But they generally didn't do 1080P, a requirement of the Roland. Plus I would need VESA mounting as a normal stand would not work. Then during the Black Friday 2018 time frame this monitor was on sale for a killer price. And it did 1080P and could be VESA mounted. I had it shipped to save me from traveling to the local Best Buy and the city sales tax as I live outside the city limits. Shipped on a Wednesday from Eagan, USPS delivered it on Saturday. (I generally do not order monitors to be shipped, if there is a problem a huge hassle shipping it back. But if there was a problem (and there wasn't) I could have taken it back to the local Best Buy.) I made my own VESA "stand" for the monitor and installed it at Church. Since the inputs are VGA (D-SUB) and DVI I needed to use an HDMI to DVI cable. Had to go into the Roland menus to switch the output from HDMI to DVD-D to get the monitor to work. Connected the VGA input to the editing PC to get another monitor to use while editing (shotcut.org) the church services. So I am happy with this setup for recording and editing the church services.

The Monitor has excellent picture quality. Good size. Moderate weight. Unfortunately, there is no HDMI slot or hdmi cable. It only has VGA and DVI slots and comes with the corresponding cables. I had to purchase a separate HDMI to VGA adapter to hook it to my laptop. Not a big deal.

Great monitor at a great price. The colors are vivid and it was a snap to set up.

I haven't purchased a monitor in a long time, it would have been nice to find out it doesn't tilt or rise prior to purchasing. The monitor is clear and a good picture other than those functions.

No frills and seems to just work. Purchase over a dozen of these and no issues. It’s cheap and it works

This is a decent size monitor. Not too big and at a good price. It took some trial and error but if you have a later model MacBook pro make sure to purchase a DVI-D to HDMI Cable to use with it. I originally purchased an adpater to use with the existing cable that the monitor came with and it did not work. Everything works great now with the new cable.

Well worth the money. Easy to set up and it gives a good picture.

Great monitor for the price. We had to buy another monitor for our home office and after getting this one we liked it so much we ended up going back to Best Buy and buying another one.

I got this monitor to be the 2nd monitor for my desktop computer. It is perfect for that purpose. It has no speakers (don't need them) and is very clear. I like this monitor.

This monitor has impressed me for its quality and price, I actually only connect it and I did not have to make an adjustment, the next monitor I bought will be of this brand

This monitor has an antiglare screen which is a plus for anyone who works long hours on-line. It has very clear images for all applications. Best of all – the low price.

I bought this monitor as my previous one by Samsung broke. The HP monitor is a good monitor but doesn't have the same vivid color as the Samsung does.

I needed a basic monitor to accompany my laptop when working from home. This HP was inexpensive and does the trick. Works well - clarity is good. No issues so far.

Got this monitor for a really good price. It serves my purpose of having a monitor to use with my laptop. I needed a wide screen for the long spreadsheets I use.
