    Died, now useless

    I had this mouse only a short while before it died. Of course Best Buy doesn't support any products after 14 days, so I have tried twice to get HP support, but they are not interested. I suppose since it's not a high dollar laptop or something, they figure it's not worth taking care of. The mouse lights up red, the USB dongle is set up by Windows, MacOS, and Linux (tried on Manjaro, Kubuntu, and Solus), but it will not move the cursor no matter what I do. I have tried all listed procedures to sync the mouse and receiver.

    Got this wireless Mouse because I wanted to lose the wire on my old one. Sadly after about two days this wireless one started to give problems, It was not going where I was sending it and after much reloading and resetting of my computer I realised it was the mouse not the laptop that was icky. Tried another mouse of my wife's that was wireless and that worked fine, as did my old wired mouse. So I then went back to this wireless one, and as I suspected its no good. Its going back to Best Buy when I am next in town.

    I bought this mouse to replace the one I had and instead of going to the store I bought it on line. BIG mistake! I had to return it at the store. I found another one (different brand) and they did not honor my certificate I used to buy the first one. They said I would get it back in a couple of days, but I still have not gotten it. BEWARE!!!!!!

    With regret, the device though it looks good and is well contoured to hold and operate, it FAILED to operate on a daily basis at least 7 - 8 times. The device was returned to Best Buy store but believing in HP products, I bought another identical piece to check out. I hope the replacement device works as designed.

    Thought I scored a good deal on a compact mouse with a reputable HP brand. The mouse was working fine when it did. However, it stopped working after 3 months. Failed to connect. Bestbuy will not take it back even though the 1-year warranty clearly stated that I should contact the authorized retailer. I guess Bestbuy is not an authorized retailer?

    Item purchased Jun 30th 2018. Just stopped working mid September. The red light on the bottom no longer comes on despite trying various new batteries. Otherwise it was an OK product for portable use and was cheap. Not worth the hassle of contacting HP to get it replaced. Will just buy a different one.

    The plastic USB connection to the computer broke easily, rendering the optical mouse unusable. It is not designed and built properly for its intended use, including in and out the USE port. Do not buy this product.

    Mouse dongle falls apart the first week

    This was not the best electronic purchase that I have made. Within a week of purchase, the mouse dongle started falling apart. There were sides to the dongle that no longer exist. The cap of the dongle was at about a 20 degree angle. Not worth the money

    After using all of three times, the battery and receiver compartment door on the bottom of the mouse broke and would no longer stay shut, which proved that this item was better suited to be an overpriced paperweight than anything else.

    Stick to logitech wireless mouse. Bought this on sale and regret it. Even with new batteries, the wireless connection was choppy and arrow on screen disappears.

    I opened the package and used the mouse for 30 minutes, it worked excellently and then quit. It hasn't worked since. Money down the drain!

    Don't even bother with this mouse. The batteries move around inside so the mouse turns on and off constantly, which gets really annoying.

    Mouse senses movement from too far

    The mouse continues to detect movement from half an inch off the mouse pad. This is so annoying it renders the mouse unusable.
