Even buying the XL capacity of these toners, the per page costs are high. Much higher than any ink jet, but at least you don't have the problem of ink going dry or nozzles getting dirty and clogged.

Having toners for each color makes it more efficient rather than the all in one toners where you have to replace it all even when one color is not fully empty. Drawback is that the toners are not cheap.

I switched from an ink jet printer to a laser jet last year. These are my first replacement cartridges. My new printer warned me that "supplies were low" long before there was any issue with print quality. In fact, the quality was fine when the printer refused to follow my prompt to proceed with printing the project. I ordered new cartridges, installed them, and the problem disappeared. The spent cartridges felt similar in weight to the new cartridges and I wonder if there was more toner to be had. Sounds like I am being cheap, but I hate to waste resources. Perhaps this is a safety feature to prevent damaging the printer. I don't know how delicate laser jet printers are.

The ink last for a long period of time and prints well in color.

The family HP color printer needed toner. Having had unhappy experiences with non-HP, got the real stuff (why does it have to cost so much?) and am trying the XL version. No issues thus far.

I went to eBay and purchased knockoff ink for my printer. BIG MISTAKE...Bleed out all over my printer.

It is the same as other stores' toners. Nothing wrong. If Bestbuy is the place where offers the best price, then buy it here!

This toner cartridge from HP works much better than the "off" brands. No toner streaking on paper and lasts much longer.

The cartridge complements the printer and is big enough that I don't have to think about getting another very soon.
