Customers are saying
Customers value the large screen size and ease of use of the 21.5" IPS LED Full HD FreeSync Monitor. Many appreciate the monitor's price and design, with positive comments also highlighting its light weight and clear resolution. Cheap construction and poor service
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Backlight went out on the righthand portion of the screen less than 2 months after purchase. Since it was more than 30 days after purchase, Best Buy nor HP would not refund the purchase and HP is sending a replacement. I fully expect to have problems with the replacement as well since I have always had problems with HP monitors. This is the last HP product I will ever buy.

HP monitor for daily everyday use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This HP monitor is perfect for my needs with it's lightweight feel, thin profile design, and clarity. I have really been able to utilize this for work at home scenarios to be more productive. Having the large real estate of a 21.5" IPS monitor with 1080p has been a nice upgrade for me so I don't have to rely on my laptop's 13" screen. This HP monitor also has a small footprint so it doesn't take up too much space on my desk or table. The only thing it lacks is a vertical adjustable option, but I can easily buy a small monitor stand for that. It's a simple plug and play type monitor that allows for an extra screen with both the HDMI and VGA ports offered. It has a Full HD display so you'll get a nice crisp clear screen. HP offers Eye Ease technology on this and it helps more than I thought it would. Keeping my eyes fairly strain free for the hours I'm working on my productivity. Easily viewable screen from multiangle, as HP states it's at 178 degree viewing angle. As for the AMD FreeSync technology I've been pleased with the monitor's performance of keeping up with streaming video content and not stuttering. The color accuracy seems to be on point and I think it's a great fit for most consumers. This is a pretty good monitor for your everyday basic needs without breaking the budget. Have been using it for a couple weeks and have no complaints as it's worked flawlessly. PRO: Quick setup - unbox and hook up Large screen, small footprint Lightweight

Screen Does Not Work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn’t working within a few weeks, Best buy return policy had a two week limit. Will go elsewhere to purchase a new monitor. Screen goes on and off ( glitches), side adhesive on screen opened up (did not drop), it’s a thin screen but had others and this is first time this has happened, disappointing.

Monitor is incredibly fragile
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This screen is the most fragile screen ever. I only used it once and was swapping it out where it tipped over on my flat table and INSTANTLY broke. I understand I allowed it to tip over, however I every other monitor I have owned would have been able to survive a tipping considering it only fell a few inches.

Excellent Monitor / Couple of Improvements
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This monitor has a fantastic display. While 22 inches is slightly smaller size than the market standard of 24 inches, the smaller display at the same 1080p resolution actually produces a better picture. PROS - Bright and clear display. I did not make any changes to the monitor's settings, and was very happy with the picture. The colors are a bit more saturated, but this monitor has a glare-free display (meaning it's not reflective), so this is actually impressive. - Excellent viewing angles. I could almost look at the monitor from the side and there was absolutely no distortion of the color. - Wide tilt. This monitor would work well in an environment where it is placed higher or lower than the average height of the viewer in that environment. For most users sitting in front of it, it can easily be adjusted to that user's height. - Incredibly thin bezel. The matte screen goes to the very edge of the monitor, meaning there is no space where the screen and bezel meet for dust to collect as the monitor ages. At the same time, the very slight bezel behind that screen is almost hard to notice. - Blue light reduction is almost unnoticeable when it comes to the colors on the screen. I did not feel as though I had the orange "hue" that a lot of blue-light-reduction seems to cause. - Surprisingly intuitive buttons for adjustments and input. There are actually no labels for the buttons other than the power button (and the on/standby light is very small), but simply pressing any of the buttons brings up a menu on the screen, with options lining up directly above the button location, making them very easy to use just by touch. CONS - No height adjustments. While the screen tilt is generous, there is no height adjustment to this monitor. - Not VESA mountable. You will have to use the stand with this monitor. However, I appreciate the open design of the stand base, as it makes a handy area to place small objects such as pens, flash drives, SD cards, paper clips, and other items that tend to slide and roll around on the desk. For me personally, this monitor lacks a couple of features that could greatly improve it for a power user like myself. CONSIDERATIONS FOR POWER USERS - Use one of the buttons for channel changing instead of color or brightness. I frequently have multiple devices plugged into my monitors, and I prefer to have a button that quickly changes the input ("channel") rather than having to go through a serious of menus just to change that input. - More HDMI ports. Again, as a power user, I would appreciate more inputs than just 1 HDMI and 1 VGA. I will often have a second computer, a streaming device, or a game system plugged into the monitor, depending on the location I am using the monitor. My primary desk has 3 different computers set up on it, so I would have to create a complicated setup in order to have multiple devices set up on this monitor. - No speakers. While speakers built in to monitors are generally terrible, they are handy to have when you need them. I have to give a couple of kudos to HP for the packaging and assembly of this monitor. In most cases, the monitor is centered in the box and the cables and accessories are dropped in on the front and back. Opening the box, I found all of the accessories organized in a "tray" (see my photo), and removing the tray revealed the monitor itself. Very easy to unpack. The stand was also so easy to attach, and FINALLY, no tools required!!! For the price point, this is a fantastic monitor and I would recommend it to almost anyone needing one for everyday use.

Fragile screen
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely loved this monitor for the past couple of months of owning it. However today I bumped my wheel chair into my desk and caused the monitor to tip over towards the wall. A slow hit of about 2 inches caused the screen to break. Really disappointed.

Great Monitor for Replacing Your Laptop Screen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many others, I am mainly doing telework at home. I have a 15" display on my work laptop. If I open more than one doc or app on the same screen, (which I have to do all the time) I end up squinting through my reading glasses, trying to make out what's on the page & my eyes get so fatigued by the middle of the day. That's why I welcomed the HP M22f FHD 1920 x 1080 Monitor with HP Eye Ease! Now, I can easily see all my opened docs & apps without the squinting & eye strain. And I enjoy using this bright, clear display with excellent color accuracy and wide viewing angles. The monitor itself is a pleasure to view, with it's 3-sided bezel-less ,ultra-thin modern design. I like that it weighs less than 5 lbs,, so it is easy to move around. This is a great monitor to replace your small laptop display. I am so enjoying it!

Easy Set Up
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using this HP Full HD LED monitor for my home office, and it’s been a great addition. The display is crisp and clear, with vibrant colors that make working on spreadsheets, emails, and presentations easy on the eyes. The slim design fits perfectly on my desk without taking up much space, and the adjustable tilt makes it comfortable to use throughout the day. Setup was quick and straightforward — just plug it in and go. I also appreciate how energy-efficient it is and that the screen doesn’t give off much glare, even in bright daylight. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality monitor that’s perfect for everyday office work. Definitely worth the price.

Worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for a second monitor, for my gaming set up, I use it for discord/music/social media while I play games on the other monitor. For what I use it for it’s perfect. It’s 1080 resolution and 60 fps and the material of the screen doesn’t feel cheap. The width is as thing as a credit card and it’s super easy to assemble. I had the box opened to it on and sitting on my desk in under 2 minutes. If you need a second monitor or something for work/business this is what you are looking for.

Good 22" Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a laptop that work gave me to work from home from time to time and the screen was just too small for me to have multiple applications open at the same time. This monitor isn’t too expensive and the aesthetics looked nice in the photos I saw online. It also looked like it would match well with my laptop. I pulled it out of the box and the first thing I noticed was how light weight it was. The best part was that no tools were needed to put it together! Once the stand was on I ran the wires. The wire organizer built into the stand is a nice touch and it routes the wires to keep them out of the way. Once I was done running the wires, it stood sturdily on my desk. The monitor doesn’t swivel or raise and lower, but it does tilt. There is an older VGA connection and an HDMI connection as well, so it was easy to connect. Once plugged in it quickly mirrored my laptops display. The colors were natural and not yellowish like you get on some monitors. It looked nice right out of the box and I didn’t need to adjust any of the settings. There is an anti-reflection layer on the screen that helps cut down on reflections in a bright room and it helped with the light coming into my home office with the shades open to let the light in. Outside of the bottom piece of the monitor, the bezel is small, maybe around 3/16 of an inch and it looks nice on the desk. Overall I’m very pleased with the monitor and I look forward to many years of use.

Title: HP 21.5" IPS LED Full HD FreeSync Monitor R
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the HP 21.5" IPS LED Full HD FreeSync Monitor in Silver & Black, and it has proven to be a solid addition to my workspace. Here's a detailed review of my experience: Design and Build Quality: The monitor's silver and black color scheme gives it a sleek and modern appearance. The build quality is sturdy, and the slim profile adds a touch of elegance to my desk. The 21.5" size strikes a good balance between screen real estate and space efficiency. Display Quality: The IPS LED panel delivers vibrant and crisp Full HD visuals. Colors are rich, and the wide viewing angles ensure a consistent image quality from various perspectives. The bezels are reasonably thin, enhancing the overall immersive viewing experience. Connectivity Options: The inclusion of HDMI and VGA ports provides versatile connectivity options. I appreciate the flexibility to connect different devices, whether it's a laptop, desktop, or gaming console. The FreeSync technology is a welcome addition for smoother gaming experiences, reducing screen tearing and stuttering. Performance: The monitor's performance has been reliable for various tasks, from productivity work to casual gaming. The 60Hz refresh rate may not appeal to hardcore gamers, but for everyday use, it's more than sufficient. The response time is decent, providing smooth transitions between frames. Adjustability and Ergonomics: While the monitor lacks extensive ergonomic adjustments, the tilt feature allows for a degree of customization to find a comfortable viewing angle. It would have been nice to have height adjustment, but considering the price point, this is a minor drawback. Energy Efficiency: The monitor is energy-efficient, and I appreciate the auto-sleep feature that kicks in when the device is not in use. This is a small detail, but it contributes to both power savings and longevity. Overall Value: For its price, the HP 21.5" IPS LED monitor offers excellent value. It strikes a good balance between performance, design, and connectivity options. Whether you're a student, professional, or casual gamer, this monitor provides a reliable display solution without breaking the bank. Pros: Sleek and modern design Vibrant IPS LED display Versatile connectivity options (HDMI, VGA) FreeSync technology for gaming Energy-efficient with auto-sleep feature Cons: Limited ergonomic adjustments (lack of height adjustment) 60Hz refresh rate may not satisfy hardcore gamers In conclusion, the HP 21.5" IPS LED Full HD FreeSync Monitor is a solid choice for users seeking a reliable and affordable display solution with a good balance of features.

Awesomely versatile Monitor!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this monitor! This little monitor works so awesomely well with my Mac Air laptop. I'm a travel agent and need the extra monitor to be able to look at various open windows while working with my clients. I wish my Mac Air was able to handle 2 monitors because I would buy another one of these! It is easy to setup and start using. It is small enough to not overpower my desk, and it's lightweight that I can travel with it. We travel in our RV and it's small enough to take this monitor along so I can work from the road. It's perfect.

Great Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP - 21.5" IPS LED full HD FreeSync Monitor is a sleek beauty. Can you call a monitor sexy? I think this one qualifies. It is lightweight and in the medium range as far as size goes, not too big, not too small. I have it as a secondary screen for my laptop and it works great. The picture quality does deliver on every level. The colors are asethetically pleasing, even with the low blue light filter. That was a HUGE draw for me. I use this filter on my phone 24/7 and it really helps on eye strain. The viewing angles are an impressive feat too. You don't realize it till you see what your old style monitor was delivering compared to this. After business hours, the monitor is transferred to my daughter's room to use as a secondary monitor for her homework and gaming. Another monitor like this is in my future. The monitor comes well packaged and with the necessary cables. Set up takes just a few minutes and you're in business.

It’s a steal!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought an extra screen for WFH and school work. It has been a good devising yet far. It is thin, sleek, and I absolutely love the quality. The instructions were easy to follow. It took less than 10 minutes to set this up. All the cables required to set this up with my lap top were provided. You do need a separate HDMI port if your lap top doesn’t automatically comes with one. I had an HDMI port converter which I plugged the monitor wire into and then plugged that into the lap top. Other than that, I absolutely love it and I hope it can last me a long time.
