    I am not sure if it is for privacy or what but if you look at the wrong angle there are shadows. I bought 2 samsung ones for my staff but wanted smaller size so I got this. going to return them

  • Viewing Angles are Not as Advertised

    Since I'm a computer graphics hobbyist, I bought this monitor because IPS panels are supposed to have great color consistency across viewing angles, but this monitor's reds become very dark from above and the blues dim significantly when viewing from the left, right, or below. I understand that it is a very cheap monitor, but it's really disappointing given Best Buy's description: Horizontal Viewing Angle . . . . 170 degrees (nope! try 15) Vertical Viewing Angle . . . . . . 160 degrees (more like 10 lol) I will, however, concede that upon reinvestigating the specs the "info" tooltip said "acceptable" viewing angle, but it offered no precise definition for acceptable. I guess it meant "acceptable for anyone who doesn't care." Of course, it is way better that a TN panel, and if you only need a monitor for casual use, this will work great and you'll likely never notice the flaws. :)
