No more HP/Microsoft products

He lives far away from me. After we set it all up for him and went back home he got locked out of it on day 2 just turning off and restarting it. Didn’t touch anything. Apparently HP with Microsoft has a bitlocker key that was unobtainable for us. He had to find a ride 40 miles away to Best Buy to have it looked at. Several days and $100 later he could use his computer again. They were able to erase his bitlocker block (and also removed his login credentials prompt - thanks!). I appreciate the geek squad’s good work so my beef is with HP/Microsoft. Why put this crap in these computers during the build? It ended up costing me extra $$$ for gas and support services just to make a brand new computer usable. I used to trust HP products - and bought a lot for my firms. But now will never buy one again. Staying with Apple.

In fact it was so easy that we went back and purchased another computer for the wife and that also was a piece of cake!! Will check out their other products in the future!
